That didnt stop CoroCoro magazine from announcing the Pokemon early, though. According to the magazine, the silhouette is of a new Pokemon named Zoroark. Zoroark plays a vital role in the upcoming Pokemon movie, scheduled for a summer release in Japan.
Zoroark is described as being a Monster Fox Pokemon, with the ability to stand on all four legs or its hind legs. Besides this new Pokemon, CoroCoro revealed its pre-evolution, Zoroua, which is the Evil Fox Pokemon.
I think it would be awesome if you could do it as a closed - open world... that didn't make any sense. Let me explain myself.
Basically you could consider it guild based. You use friend codes (or whatever better system Nintendo puts in place on the next system) to create a group of your friends. The game world will then act like a persistent world for just those friends.
I think that could work really really well. Obviously, some sacrifices would have to be made as it isn't a true persistant world. NPCs won't remember what your friends did or anything like that. But it would awesome none the less.
In fact, that could really be done on the DS, as it could be played online or offline.
