OMG! I just saw a Just Dance Commercial on TV! While watching Life Unexpected! Ubisoft is ADVERTISING!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

That's because the game has already likely sold a million WW, time to re-invest and see if they can triple that. 3rd party games have to earn their advertising by first selling enough to pay for the ads.

Funny enough, my younger brother and I were exploring the "Third-Party Question" yesterday, and this exact point is one of the many observations we made in developing our new theory on the "Third-Party Question."
Now, all I have to do is write-up that theory, add additional research, and get it published in some academic journals.

What did the commercial show? Did it show gameplay footage? Did it show people playing the game? Or did it show a skit or something that had nothing to do with the game?

The commercial showed in the 9pm to 10pm slot on the CW, the time slot which features the new hit tv show Life Unexpected ("Juno meets Gilmore Girls!").
It showed gameplay footage. It showed people playing the game (boy did it ever, no punches pulled there!). It did the previous two things frequently at the same time by splitting up the screen.
It did not show a skit or in some similar way try to phail at advertising.

That line of questioning is completely unrelated to the topic at hand! It matters not if my client likes to watch girlie-shows ;)
Signs I'm way too hooked on Phoenix Wright at the moment...though maybe we should place 3rd parties on trial.
ahh this brings me back to when i first joined and EVERYONE was doing this. At the time, i had no idea what the hell was going on. Now i know.. now i love.. Phoenix<3

I always meant to pick up the Ace Attorney games but now I'm asking myself why I didn't o it sooner. I love them!

Well well, look at that. Just Dance is advertised and it makes the top 10 in the NPD... AMAZAZING
