The Metroid: Other M site opens with a female Japanese voice saying, "That dream...it was like watching a playback of a tragedy that actually occurred." It then loads a panoramic picture of a woman (presumably Samus) staring out over a futuristic city as the sun sets in the distance. A melancholy piano tune accompanies the scene.
The Xenoblade site is equally mysterious. It shows an epic scene of two gigantic, ancient monsters, hundreds of feet high, fighting in an ocean. The scene then changes to a metal sword stuck in the ground, surrounded by a field of green grass and a beautiful blue sky in the background. A melancholy piano-laden track also plays throughout.
Nintendo has announced Xenoblade and Metroid: Other M as spring and summer releases in Japan, respectively.
Fair warning: I'm going to start handing out warnings to anyone who posts links to other areas of the forum where the topic of a news story was posted first. This is getting annoying.

If people are respectful about it and not just mocking the staff for (being perceived as) being slow, there shouldn't be a problem; it points people who may not have been aware of it of a discussion of the topic that's already in progress.I agree. I'm mostly referring to BlackNMild's posts where he berates the staff for posting a news story that he posted in the forums a day earlier. It's not accomplishing anything and it's getting on my nerves.
