Title: Larger Avatar File Sizes?

30KB is kinda small. What's everyone's thought on leaving the current height/width limits, but raising that file size limit a bit?

120height x 100width 130kb size
unless your avatar is too awesome to fit into such small size constraints

What's wrong with just using another site to host those larger avatars? Or am I misunderstanding the matter and it won't even let you link to a larger file size avatar from off site? I thought that restriction was only if you uploaded it to the forums directly.

Larger filesize at least.
Although I can't complain too much about this size, because these threads load faster than threads on my other forums.

My computer isn't anywhere near top-of-the-line and can load pages on this site with ease, so increasing file size would be fine.
I'd be against increasing the size of the width as it might push posts to the side, causing horizontal scrolling which is annoying.

Bring back the wide-screen revolution! 100x120 or 120*150
It's not like the horizontal space it being used anyways...

Given i use other sites that actually have animated gifs at (sometimes) 30mb... a more more kb here is fine.

I believe unofficially we are allowed 100x100 @ 100kb since that is the largest the forum will let you display.
But I'm all for bumping up both of those number just slightly, especially since (at least in FireFox) there is a lot of extra room over next to the avatars that aren't being used.
