Title: Digimon on GC??

Hey folks,
I was just searching through the GameCube games on EB's website, and I saw that they had a Digimon game listed for the GameCube. I haven't heard of this before now. Is it real? I didn't think that Nintendo would let a game like that be on the GameCube considering it would be competition for Pokemon. I personally am excited about this if its true, cuz I loved the Digimon cartoons on TV.

I know a Digimon game was released for the GBA, so it's not out of the question for one to be released on the cube. There have been tons of Pokemon clones on Nintendo systems (Monster Rancher, Dragon Warrior Monsters) and I don't think Nintendo would feel that their Pokemon are that threatened by Digimon...

I saw a Digimon game in NP's Gamecube release list, but I know nothing about it. And it's nice to know that I'm not the only person here who watches it.

Don't be too excited I played the last 3 Digimon console titles for the Playstation and they are not that great. (Though 3 was the best so they are getting better.)

yeah it wont come out on gc....gc is too kiddy for the digimon!

Hopefully that was tongue in cheak. If it wasn't....
But serious the games are rather lack luster. The only reason Gamecube and Gameboy Advance are getting anything from them is that they (Bandai) are realizing that there handheld real isn't going to ever do well outside of Japan, so their boycott of their major competitor has been lifted.

twas, their other exuse would be the userbase is just to small.....as its been since before launch....
