At a roundtable discussion at E3 2009, Miyamoto stated that he wished to make a Zelda game that required MotionPlus, but was waiting to see how the adoption rate for the unit would go. This is an official confirmation that the new Zelda title will utilize the unit for enhanced gameplay.

We haven't heard of much coming out next year, so it's a little premature to say that Nintendo isn't pushing it.

I figured this was pretty much going to be the new standard remote though. I figured nearly EVERY Nintendo first party game from here on out would use it. But aside from the Zelda all the stuff in pipeline very specifically DOESN'T use it. The push of it is much smaller than I expected.
