Prediction - Sony will announce a game called RAVER
It will require 2 Disco Sticks and come with a whistle
Gameplay will be much like DDR and you will be displayed on the screen with lots of motion blur for your disco sticks.

Drugs and other visual enhancers are sold separately.... <points at Stogi ;)>

Prediction - Another sequel for Rez is a announced for Sony's Disco Stick.
It is quickly recalled when families realize that their daughter (& in some cases sons) are running around with disco sticks lodged into the front of their pants. It was first noticed when one mans son was caught running around with a disco stick tucked in his pants orb down saying "Look Dad, I've got blue balls!!"

Prediction - Sony's #1 casual software for the Disco Stick will be a pack in that goes by the name of Key-Finder.
*It requires you attach your keys to the remote strap.

Since the PSEye can track the disco stick in 3D space, it will not only light up the glow ball so you can see it in the room, but actually show you on the screen where in teh house the remote is located so you don't have to look that hard.

alternate commercial?--

You can dance if you want to, you can leave PSEye aligned
cause it can track and if it don't track well you can leave 3D behind

I say, we can go where we want to
A place they'll never find
And we can act like we come from out of sev-en-ty nine

I say, we can go where we want to
A place they'll never find
And we can act like we come from out of sev-en-ty nine

I really don't want to have to follow this act but here goes:

Prediction:

Sony will try to steal away Microsofts Pilot Simulation audience with their new IP entitled "Air Traffic HD," a casual title where players use 2 Sony Disco sticks TM to simulate air traffic controlers and guide planes safely through runways. Knowing that some players my not be able to take a second mortgage out on their homes for not only the PS3 but TWO disco sticks, they'll offer an alternative control method where only ONE disco stick is used:

Your characters right hand will be operated by the disco stick whereas his* left hand will be controlled via the Dualshock 3's left analogue stick.**

*Sony, while trying to appeal to the casual audience but not alienate their existing "hardcore" audience, will only have male characters in the game. Their profiles will state they're all averaging a height of 6'6, 220lbs (all muscle) and bald. Some will be ex-marines.

*Their second blunder, Sony will assume that because the majority of the population is right handed, they never programmed the game to use the RIGHT analogue stick for southpaw players that'd like to use their Disco Sticks in their left hands.

(and while i'm at it...) Prediction:

The original Sony Disco Stick will not include rumble feedback technology. The excuse? It would interfere with the advance motion sensing tech in the Disco stick. A year later they'll release the Sony Disco Stick 3*** that does have rumble, and the fans will never notice they're being ripped off. Smarter consumers will keep their Disco Stick 1's and purchase a vibrating condom ring from Trojan for the same effect.

*** They'll bypass naming their controller "disco stick 2" just to stay consistent.

I don't mean to be a downer in the Funhouse, but I think that's still just a prototype.  I'd be shocked if the final product had the giant glowing ball on the end.

That is not the prototype. Check the thread on it, there is a video of Sony demoing the brightly colored ball tech about 5-6 years ago with the eyetoy.

Sony had no clue how to make it play Tennis or Bowling or anything useful at the time.
