So... with the official ending of Pepsi's Rock Band contest, I'm free to drink something besides Pepsi.
There are so many choices, I'm not sure what to go after first.
I usually drink Mountain Dew. I like Dr Pepper. If I drink cola, I usually go for Pepsi, but I'd prefer Cherry Pepsi/Cherry Coke. I rarely drink the same thing twice in a row, just because I like variety (which is why this Pepsi promotion killed me!). I sometimes drink energy drinks - the Venom line is pretty tasty. I like Jones' Soda, but I don't think we carry that anymore at my Walmart.
I've also missed McDonald's Sweet Tea.
Of course, there's always fruit juices. Call me crazy, but I do like Juicy Juice.
Can't stand milk. Stuff is nasty. Not a big water fan. In fact, I can honestly say, I don't like the taste of water. Bottled, City, Well... none of it tastes good to me. Weird, I know...
...So, what should my first Pepsi-Free drink be tomorrow?
How awesome would it be if they still made Pepsi Free? Not really... don't like diet stuff either, except for some of the Diet Rite flavors...

Might I suggest a bottle of drain cleaner? ;)
But seriously, of those choices, I'd go with (diet) Dr. Pepper, if that's what you have on hand. That's one of the few Pepsi products which I like, though not any of the flavoured varieties because they're too sweet.
It's a shame they don't still sell Jones soda at your store, that has to be the best soda around. Every flavour that they make is bursting with deliciousness... except for the root beer. That's the only nasty one, it tastes like cough syrup.
Around here there is a brand of soda called Faygo, I'm not sure if that's available in your area. They have a lot of good flavours as well, such as grape, orange, strawberry, and many more. It also costs less than the other brands, yet it isn't all watered-down like store-brand soda.
Perhaps after a binge of sugary soda, it would be best to just brew up some tea? Green tea would be a good one, unless you'd be willing to splurge on something more expensive.

Coke, if you drank pepsi for a long time coke will taste better than it normally will. Or should it be Dr. Pepper, if i drink Pepsi too long Coke is the replacement, if i drink Dr. Pepper too long Pepsi is the replacement. I have never drank coke on a regular basis, but when I do its really nice. It is too acidic though and I can't drink it as a regular.
may i suggest RC Cola, I am also on the same not liking water boat, but if its warmed up its alot better. Water is too heavily chlorinated now a days. It insights my gag reflex..but i drink it anyway. Or try to at least. At the moment I am drinking a 7-up.

I tried the Pepsi Throwback and the Mountain Dew Throwback, were there others?
The Pepsi one was alright, it was a little better than regular Pepsi but I just don't really like cola. The Mountain Dew one tasted the exact same as diet Mountain Dew to me... I suspect foul play!

whoa there are throwbacks, i know i would be able to taste the difference. I definately can taste the difference between corn syrup and cane sugar. Living near Mexico has its advantage. We have 2 different types of Coke in our supermarkets in Arizona. Imported Mexican coke, and regular coke.
Also, for some strange reason Taco Bell in Yuma Az has fountain Pepsi that tastes like its sugar sweetened.

I've only met one person in my entire life who didn't like water. This chick...DJ Thicky thick....anyway she was a weird one and the only person I know that would refuse water when she was thirsty...
But now there are TWO people on this forum who can't drink water, the essence of all life. You guys need to hike a mountain. Water will then be your best friend, I'm sure.

i thought that would make you laugh Kashogi, but we really do when you walk buy the barcode tag above the bottle on the shelf it says coke mexicana. Good stuff, that is the purist Coke you can get in America i believe.
but what is with water now? Taste like it came out a pool! When I was a kid I lived in GA, and for some reason water there( well water) was sweet...that is where Pepsi & CocaCola Corp are.... I remember like totally drinking the water while i was taking a shower. If it came in a glass bottle, and had been boiled the Chlorine taste goes away. It doesnt help that when I drink it out of a plastic bottle it tastes like plastic. I can taste the smallest differences in water. We have a water dispenser at my house, but it still has a bit of a chlorinated taste to it. It isn't as bad though as bottled water.

Hey Bob, how about you try a Naked Juice? Those things are the ****, and they come in the best flavors. Except the one called "protien" that's the only nasty one i've ever had. It's thick, chalky and white and makes me worry what kinda protien they put in that bottle..
