Title: NWR Adds Two New Staffers

I've somehow convinced two more people to write for us.  I don't know how I do it either.

 We're always on the lookout for fresh voices here at Nintendo World Report, and with that in mind I'd like to announce the addition of two new writers to our staff.    


Andy Goergen, a.k.a. DrewMG from our own NWR Forums, has most recently been writing blogs for The Goozex Report.  He will be providing news and reviews, and will also provide in-depth coverage of the drinking habits of Nebraska Cornhusker football fans.    


Matthew Blundon was last seen providing review content for NintendoLife. We'll also be looking to him for news and reviews support, as well as any tips on surviving in the wilds of his home province of Newfoundland, Canada.    


Please give Andy and Matthew a warm NWR welcome!

Congratulations to DrewMG and the yet-to-be-named staffer!

At first I was kind of surprised about DrewMG, but then I realized I haven't really read much of his work, since most of it is posted in Geneal Gaming and also off-site. I look forward to seeing your contributions to Nintendo World Report, though adding the eliteness of "NWR" to your username is unnecessary.

I hope the guy from NintendoLife will be here shortly to introduce himself to all of us.

I kind of agree.  I don't mean to tell you what you can and can't use for a user name, but it seems like you need to pick a structure and stick with it.  Either have all staffers use NWR or none of them.  (Personally, I think NWR is redundant--the color of your user name indicates that you are staff.)

It's good to see that we have new people on staff. If I recall correctly, Matt's last review for Nintendo Life was Fatal Frame 4 which is interesting. Anyways it's good to see the site grow :).

Not only do I agree, but I already sent a PM to Flames of Chaos whose name was already long enough before adding the redundant NWR to the front of it.

It isn't really necessary, because they'll receive enough of a beating once they discover just how harsh of critics the forum goers can be.  ;)

Fun Fact: Any of you who went to UncleBob's Brawl launch event in sunny Carmi, IL will have already gotten a small taste of DrewMG's antics. :D If not, he's a good guy and a great writer. You're gonna like his work.

I'm enforcing the "NWR" before the name.  Everybody we hire from here on out will have thus prefix added to their forum name.  It's nothing about "eliteness"; I just want it to be obvious who's staff and who isn't.

Also I don;t mind the NWR prefix, but why does it have to have the ugly underscore between the names? That's what annoys me most.

I wouldn't put too much stock into my appearance that weekend - I was sick the entire time and went to bed like a half hour after I got Brawl in my hands.  As far as launch events go it was great, but I was a big bag of inFAILenza.

I'd think that if people like the staffers then they're going to know who they are even without any such indicators.

Just put "NWR" at the beginning of your username and "NWR Staff" as your custom title and people will think you're staff.
