Google it! Chances are you won't yeild any results because it's most likely a personal number than some sorta telemarketing service.. unless they started texting now. OH GOD!
You can either suck it up and text/call back asking who it is, or just go on wondering because its probably someone you didnt wanna talk to anyway, hence you never saved their number/deleted it from your phonebook in the first place.

I texted back a few times, and never got a reply.
I did google it, and even debated paying $5 to a service that promised to tell me who it belonged to, but in the end I chalked it up to one of the mysteries of life. :)

Haha don't ever waste your time with those sites, they'll never help and just google the number themselves ;)
Speaking of mysteries of life, I have this number stored on my phone with no name, so its just a phone number with an 845 area code.. When i google it, I get nothing, and I can't bring myself to call and find out who/what it is! It's been in my phonebook for years though.
Hm, while i'm at it.. My first cell phone was an xmas gift from my brother. When i unwrapped it, i already had 3 voicemails. One was from him, wishing me a merry xmas. The second was from my mother doing the same only en espanol. The third was.. hilarious! Some random person dialed my phone and left a voicemail, also wishing a merry xmas, but it was for some girl. They sounded really drunk and asked if "I" would be coming to the party. I actually called back, my first call from the phone ever, that same night to wish them a happy holiday and ask if their friend ever showed up to the party. They could barely hear me though over the music from both our parties, and the girl on the other end sounded pretty drunk, and she just hung up on me. Whatever.

Today's random activity for me has been talking about myself in the second person. It's just as, if not more, annoying than talking about yourself in the third person but it has the added benefit of being incredibly confusing and nearly incomprehensible.

I got a text from my mobile network asking for my thoughts on their services. I replied:
"Plump succulent juicy flavoured strips of chicken covered in a flamboyantly original cheese an mushroom sauce topped with a dash of coriander and lemon"

Today's Random Activity: Travel all the way into central london to deliver letter, as there's been a postal strike by Royal Mail and there's 20 MILLION letters backed up. I get my friend to guide me via Google Maps. I get to the university and... CLOSED. No post box and no reception.
I remember why i hate that university so much.

I've had that once, nasty **** ugh. It was so uncomfortable the whole time I had it, and just my luck it was towards the last days of junior year when I wanted to get together with all my friends but couldnt cuz i had this huge fucking bump in my eye (it was slightly visible and just looked gross). On top of that, I had a date a few days after i got it and it still hadn't gone down so I had to wear sunglasses the entire time and looked like ray fucking charles in the movie theatre.. ugh *shakes fist at cyst*

Today i decided to reboot back to my first random activity and sent out GOOD MORNING! to about half of the people in my phone book. My phone has been on silent, and constantly flashing, ever since. Success!
I then went on facebook and asked everyone to poke me, send me a message and like that status message. Everybody FAILED.
