Some of the Wii Marvelous games include Little King's Story, Arc Rise Fantasia, Muramasa: The Demon Blade and No More Heroes. They did not comment on which games would be ported, but games that don't rely heavily on the Wii controls would probably be likely candidates.
In the case of No More Heroes, the title was originally going to be an Xbox 360 title until Suda 51 expressed interest in the Wii Remote and updated the game to have motion controls. However, Suda 51 expressed that while he wishes to continue the No More Heroes franchise beyond its upcoming sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, he says that it won't be on the Wii, stating that "we've done everything we can with it for now."
The low sales of these titles could have also inspired Marvelous' decision to support all consoles.
Considering Japan doesn't buy non-household-name console games, and Marvelous doesn't exercise effective niche-game marketing in the West, things are tough for them. You can only be so thrifty with your console game business, unless it's focused on handheld gaming.
BUT YEAH, they'd go out of business spending money to develop an HD game.
Suda51 could be heading into trouble if he makes an HD No More Heroes. I just don't see that audience being nearly as receptive as the Wii audience (then again even at that the sales weren't amazing on Wii).
I don't see Suda 51's games selling well on any console, because for the most part they're niche arthouse games. Hell, has Suda 51 ever made a hit game that sold well at retail? Shadow of the Collosus and World of Goo are the only niche arthouse games period I can think of that have ever sold well. I'm honestly amazed that companies are still willing to produce them, especially in this financial climate.

Even SotC didn't sell terribly well, don't even believe it hit 1 million worldwide (Could be wrong though).
I still wonder if Devil May Boobies from Platnium will sell on the HD consoles (it might, just for th DOA fans alone)
But why couldn't they bring that game to the Wii too?
Little King Story doesn't use any motion controls. That's the most likely candidate, I would think.

No, I think you're right there. It sold "well enough", but its placement as a Player's Choice title is a bit dubious sales-wise.

PS2 games (not sure if Sony changed it for the PSP or PS3) only have to sell 400K copies and be out for 6 months to qualify for Greatest Hits status.

This makes me angry because of all the things Bayonetta is, tittie monster is NOT it. Also, the game is like Devil May Cry on LSD, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't sell.

They don't exactly make games targeted towards the masses.

All the more reason to port their Wii games to another console. You guys think the Wii is the hardcore niche console? Bullshit. The Wii is the mainstream console. The Wii is designed for the masses. Did you guys forget about Nintendo's whole sales strategy with the blue ocean market and everything? You think their strategy of non-games and sequels is to target the niche hardcore nut?
I find this news very disappointing though not at all surprising. It's just like the Gamecube: we lose our exclusives but all the multiplatform games go to every platform BUT Nintendo's. But hey we can brag that our console sold the best so I guess we "win" or whatever. Nintendo actually was right when they said they were not competing with Sony and MS. They're not. The Wii is something different outside the "normal" videogame market. Only the hardcore Nintendo fans see it as being the same, and that's mostly because we WANT it to be the same. Nintendo finished first place in a race of one.

The PS2 and DS are both. The DS is even a blue ocean system and everything.

I don't know if she had massive tits but I remember the trailer having so much overdone sex appeal I felt dumber just from watching it, made me feel like they think I'm a total idiot who will buy anything as long as it tones up the sexyness enough.
