Looks like it's worth trying at least.

If you're going to make a thread about a game, you should really talk a little bit about it instead of just saying "GAME, TRAILER"

Not everybody can/feels like watching a trailer. Personally, I'm watching the trailer, but I mean in general. Some info and thoughts would be nice.

Looks pretty minigame boring to me

Added some of my thoughts to the game and gameplay info to OP.

Looks interesting. I don't like Arkanoid but there is a break-the-blocks game on the NES titled Thunder and Lighting which I really liked. This looks to take things even further.

Is this WiiWare or retail?

I would like to update the first post with those pictures but I can't at the moment. If you make a post with the pics I think Vudu can update the first post.

So apparently this is going to come bundled with Wii remote plus.

Europe release date is November 19th.
November 7th for the states.

Okay well Bestbuy and Walmart have started selling this early. This was suppose to come out a week from now.

Does anybody plan on picking this up?

I'm planning to get it if there's a black friday or cyber monday deal on it since the buy 2 get 1 free sale at Toys R Us, Target, and Amazon already took a good chunk out of my wallet :P.

I was interested in the game, but because it is only packaged with something I have no need for, I'm going to wait until I can find a cheap used copy.

HAPPY.
Oh how things change.

The Wii Remote plus is getting a stand along release. This game is offically redudent.

And it's made by Artoon. Double negative.

I hope that is a joke post. Artoon is not a bad developer. Also, why buy a Wii Remote Plus for $40 when you can get the controller plus a game that looks pretty good for $50?

Review copy get! It comes with a silly plush of the main character. I don't think there's any embargo, so I'll let you guys know my thoughts after I sit down with it later today.

I'm four worlds in and I've got some mixed feelings.

It's fun, and there's new gameplay quirks added in every world. It has a presentation (island setting, the way the levels are setup) that reminds me of Yoshi's Island, which makes sense (Artoon made YI DS), but is still weird.

The controls are absolute ****. As far as I can tell, you have to keep the Remote fixed on the middle of the sensor bar as your neutral position to get anything to work correctly. Of course, as everything heats up, finding that neutral position is tough, and you have to fight the controls to control your character.

I like it, but those damn controls...

Have you tried the co-op?

Not yet, but I can't imagine it being too different. I also played co-op with Karlie at E3. To be honest, I can't imagine the controls being any better, and that damn near breaks the game.

Dammit! I was banking on this game being good and having fun controls!

It worked at E3.  I would suppose it depends on how obstructed your sensor bar is at home.  I'm sure E3 had the absolute optimum distances and brightnesses, so I can see how it could be very deceptive.
