I enjoyed the first 2 Golden Suns.They are excellent games.

I think that is pretty much the common consenus about the show in general, it at least took me time to come to grips with all that was announced (Including this). Even though I've never played a GS game I am excited for this, not only for the fans but so I can experience it.

I never played The Lost Age. The original was ok in hindsight and OH MY GOD back in day. I remember jizzing my pants seeing how gorgeous GS was for a GBA. Man, GBA was the shiz.

I liked Golden Sun while it lasted but I HATED the game and the developer for placing the ending one third into the story!

I like the art style and I can't wait to see what the actual battles look like (remember, it was the actual battle scenes that looked the best). Also, it'd be interesting to see how we control our new found powers in the overworld. The touchscreen should simplify the process.
I was really, really hoping that this would come to the Wii, because Camelot have a great sense of the technology already and could have produced a beautiful and epic adventure. The Wii could have also made those aforementioned powers all the more impressive to use.
I can't complain though. This is what I've been waiting for since I finished Lost Age.
There are sooooooo many good games coming out for the DS. I need to save some money.

I agree with the graphics looking great. Camelot really knows how to push handheld graphics.
Hopefully the story won't be dragged out with text boxes and is of decent quality (hated GS1's story, liked GS2's because the characters were a bit more well-rounded, though it still wasn't awe-inspiring).

I read on IGN that the game's release date, as announced by Nintendo along with a 20 dollar DSi/DSi XL price drop, is November 29 of this year. Just after listening to a small discussion about it on the Newscast.

I never beat 1 or 2 but I loved them. I remember getting 1 and a white GBA for xmas in 2001. I was blown away that a handheld game could look that good. Poor short lived GBA.
Anyways I'm really excited for this game. I'll probably pick up the guide for this since you can get permanent stuck and have to restart in the first 2. Hopefully that's gone but I'll play it safe.
