Last week, Famitsu revealed the existence of Hospital, a new game from the creators of Trauma Center. Today, Atlus announced the game for North America with the localized title Trauma Team.

Players will have the opportunity to take on the role of six different medical professions including diagnostician, general surgeon, E.M.T., endoscope technician, medical examiner, and orthopedic surgeon. Popular medical tools like the forceps and the hemostat will be available for surgery. In addition, voice acting and brand new story sequences inspired by anime and manga will be included.

Trauma Team will hit store shelves in spring 2010.

I don't know if the staff at E3 knows this but they could be in the game. One E3 attendie could be put in the game.

As to this news it looks to be a nice addition to the series.

Second screen is HAWT.

But seriously, like I said in the other thread, this only makes sense.

When I was poking around on IGN yesterday that was the first shot of the game I saw. Kinda odd. Though is does make me wonder: will there be gameplay outside of the OR? There are action icons on that screen like you actually get to perform the checkups on patients to determine a diagnosis. That's an interesting expansion.

Is the game considered by Atlus to be part of the Trauma Center series?

It looks like there's going to be a lot more variety in gameplay with this one. I'm looking forward to it.

Not a problem. Just trying to right the effects of early morning (late night?) reading.

I have no idea what time it is right now for me. I've been on a graveyard schedule wher eI go to bed in the morning hours but my boss put me on day shifts this week so I had to get up around the time I go to bed. I didn't get much sleep because of it. I guess it's technically almost my bed time.  :-\ I have to miss the Nintendo press conference  :'(

Hopefully someone will make the conference available to download afterward (and the Microsoft one and Sony one, and maybe some of the third party ones).

Jeez, man, get some sleep then! You can sift through the updates and over-excited forum posts later - it'll all still be here.

No! I HAVE to see it all now, or else I'll have more than twice as much to go through tomorrow! And tomorrow is Nintendo's day!

...I see your point. Well, I suppose you were destined to be zombie this week anyway, what with the shift change and all. Good luck!
