1:18:00, that place kinda looks like the place where night of the living dead takes place. Kojima did say one time that he wanted to make a zombie game where if you get bit you become a zombie.

Yeah, that was a bit anti-climatic.

Wow, the original image was kinda obvious with the big number 5 not so hidden in the picture.
I can understand the value of this IP and series, but it seems like they are pumping these games out too quickly.
I mean we are on number 5 in 3 consoles. Where in 3 consoles we only got 3 Mario games, 2 Zelda games, and 1,000 Madden games.
What math are you using to say we got 2 Zeldas in 3 consoles?
NES - Zelda 1 and 2. N64 - Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. GameCube - Wind Waker and Twilight Princess GameBoy - Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages DS - Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

I'm fairly certain that's not what he was trying to say, as it would have nothing to do with having 5 MGS games over the last 3 console generations.

Regarding the 2 new MGS games.
The answer was revealed today in Famitsu. While we're certain Kojima is going to be kept mighty busy either way, he's actually only fully involved with Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. The Metal Gear series father is serving as director, producer and game designer on the PSP title.
As for Metal Gear Solid Rising (confirmed in Famitsu to be for Xbox 360 and PS3), Kojima is serving as producer along side Kenichiro Imaizumi. He told the magazine, "I'm not the director. I'm not doing game design either. Although, I do issue complaints (laughs). But, not too much."
Looks like Kojima doesn't really want to make a 360 title :P.

So who is the Director of this game?
So what is Kojima going to be Director on?

MGS: Peace Walkers, for the PSP.

He didn't even want to make MGS4, hell he didn't even want to make MGS3 (MPO doesn't count). They are seriously beating a dead horse right now with these two MGS games.

Here's the answer: Nothing.
And we're better off that way. MGS: Twin Snakes was inferior to the PSX game (though the PSX game itself isn't that much of a master peice anyway), and while we did get Snake in Brawl, that was only because Sakurai was friends Hideo (and he had more control over the game). If Miyamoto had more forceful control over Sakurai, Snake wouldn't have been in Brawl, AT ALL.
At looking at that snake scar on Big Boss's torso... The wound that made him go into a coma?

I thought I enjoyed Twin Snakes the first few times around. As time passed, it turned out I only liked reaching the cutscenes. Slowly and surely, this title helped boil my disgust with the franchise as a whole and all the gaming "values" it stands for.

Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.
It's better then anything else in the Solid line games. =/

I'll state here why I disagree with parts of an article mentioned in a previous thread that derides Twin Snakes.
Much of the latter portion of the article is questioning and mocking the fact this was a 5-year-old remake that seemed to have an odd purpose.
It makes no mention of the fact that is was Nintendo that approached Konami with this offer because they wanted a Metal Gear game on the Gamecube since it was faltering in the face of the PS2 and Xbox. Nintendo basically offered to do all the work and take all the financial risk to get Metal Gear on a Nintendo system. So Nintendo selected one of their better mature dev teams and got permission to remake MGS. That is why Konami had little involvement in the creative process. It was SK, Nintendo with some overhead from Kojima.
I'd post more thoughts, but I want to reread the article first yet I've forgotten where it was opriginally posted. I think True Blue posted it. Could you link it here so I could refresh my memory and so other people who didn't read it could understand what is being said?

Here is the article I mentioned before. (http://www.thesnakesoup.org/?section=articles&content=ttsvsmgs)
Any thoughts from anyone?

I kind of felt that his comments about the voice acting was hit and miss. I liked Jennifer Hale's VA in Twin Snakes better then the PSX version. I also liked Kim Mai Guest's performance as well. It felt more... natural.
Cutscenes, I absolutely agree with. The Ninja scenes were awesome, scenes with no action were awesome. Everything else? Bat-**** crazy.
Graphics... again, hit or miss. The game looks good, but some character models looked strange. That's just me.
