Small world. My high school did that musical my senior year, I was one of the many chorus members, though I got a small speaking role as the judge towards the end of the thing. My favorite number was 'No blue Monday in your Sunday clothes', can't remember the exact title...

I would love to see that show live. Yeah, that song is the one Wall-E is fond of. That's how I found out about the musical, after watching Wall-e my Dad found the movie and showed it to us. Hard to believe the one guy with the high pitched voice was Michael Crawford who because the Phantom of the Opera in the original musical.

One number that I liked, though I wasn't in it, was the one with the line 'If you ain't got elegance'. It was fun to watch from backstage, it was so hokey and campy, but the actors made it work.

I loved that part because of how hard the guys were trying to not let the girls find out they were dirt broke yet the girls kept wanting to do fun expensive things. Hilarious. The entire show is filled with campy parts but that's half the charm.
