It's on Amazon new for 20 US dollars, don't know if the UK store is similar.
It's worth it to get the whole thing. It comes with a nifty fold out map of the city with important places marked for you. The back is a poster of the girl that trained you on weapons dressed in a traditional Chinese outfit. I wore a male version of one of those outfits once for Chinese New Year. Quite fun and very comfortable.

I have a not so random thought. actually its very well thought out.
Watching someone play Animal crossing is like taking two sleeping pills and trying to stay awake because you have a dead mans trigger in your hands. OMG!! I can't do it anymore.

So chinatown has arrived.
The game is the american NTSC version (no problem really), and the boxart says its rated E for Everyone and it says this on the back:
"The most detailed hands-on playtest of the hottest DS game this year, complete with HUD diagrams and new screens. About the only exciting thing to be announced at Nintendo's E3 briefing last year was the DS-exclusive GTA Chinatown Wars. In the ever expanding ocean of software made for non-gamers, the mention of gaming's most revered brands stood out as one of the highlight announcements of the whole show, in fact."
Should i keep it or send it back?

It's definitely going back. The cartridge feels lighter than all my other DS games, the game label even says E for Everyone (yeah... right), and it gets about 30 seconds into the game before it crashes and starts looping music.

What did you expect for £8?

This one was £13.... and even then i'm still seeing it "used" for cheaper than that on amazon and elsewhere.

Where did you buy it from?

Probably eBay. Pirated copy. That's too bad. Thankfully I've yet to run into a pirated game during my online shopping of used games.

It was ebay. Ironically i saw similar ones on Amazon.

It's always a risk when you buy online but I've heard eBay is worse than Amazon.
That's why it's important to not only look at ratings but what those ratings are for. Some people sell a few minor good items to build a good rep before pawning off the bad junk.

Here are three ways to avoid buying a pirated game on eBay:
-Check the item location. If it's Hong Kong, it's counterfeit. There's no way it isn't.
-If the seller doesn't use proper English or says something vague or possibly untrue, it could be a counterfeit item.
-If there's no picture of the item, you're basically taking a stab in the dark.

It was from the UK this one, the guy didn't have a specific picture up (but sellers/shops often do that), and he has good english in the auction and in his messages afterward. Plus he has a 99.8% rating.
I will just stick to buying it new on places like HMV when the price drops in future.

Maybe he bought it ignorantly and thought it was the real deal when he resold it.

I'm not fully sold on that game even though most of the RFN 'cast crew seem to enjoy it (of those who have played it).
It will probably be one of those games I grab a few years from now and wonder why I didn't get it earlier.

World Ends With You is only $14.44 on Amazon.
Age of Mythology or Civilization Revolution are good strategy games for the DS and they tend to be cheap when I look online as well.
