Man, this is random. I went and made a new character (Fig Neutron -- neglected to make him someone's pupil, sorry), and he has this hammer that can one shot kill a level one character.

He had a magic spell that converted the opponents Bear & Dog over to his side to attack their original master. It went from 3 on 2 to 1 on 3 very quickly.

I don't have a dog, but they seem to get a little tougher with more experience (I watched some videos from the tournaments and they were at level 50+)
There is no way to increase the amount of fights a day(6 on day 1 & then 3 every day after that), but if you get more people to sign up under you(post your link on other forums) you can still gain lots of experience points by them joining and leveling up underneath you.
Its works like pyramid.

Someone has to get to Level 10 to start a clan.
I'm half way through level 5 (hope to be level 6 today), so the more people that sign up under me (I have 20 pupils last I checked) and continue to level up(you get +1 exp for every pupil & +1 exp for each that levels up) the sooner I can get there.
If someone else spams another board and gets even more pupils, then they can probably get there even faster than me. Don't forget that you can have more than one Brute. I have about 8 right now all at various levels.

I got my first pupil! Though it was me getting my little sister to start an account.
How close are we to getting an NWR clan going?
Also, do you earn experience from fighting in tournaments or when someone else fights you? Like say a person fights your brute and your brute wins, does that gain you experience? I noticed some poeple fought me but it didn't say in the notice box that I gained any exp for the fight. Do I only get it if I win in that case?

You should get experience for every fight you do, whether you initiate it or not, but it doesn't seem like you do. It also appears that you receive no exp. from tournaments, but I can't be 100% sure on that one yet.
My best fighter is only 1/3 the way thru lvl 6, so the more your lil sis levels up, the more you level up, the more you help me to level up. We all need to get more pupils, other wise we won't be able to start a clan until near the end of the month.

I started a second guy and named him Crimm Jr. he is slow but got a sword from the get-go. His joining and leveling up to 2 didn't register exp on my first guy though it gave me a notice that I had a new pupil.

pretty much. My second character hass 100+ more health than my first (Lvl3) character at Lvl1.
Your character gains one type of stat boost each level. Mine seems prone to speed but other people seem prone to strength or agility boosts.

I keep getting the downloader.Swif.C alert on mybrute.com, but only in IE. With Firefox I do not get the alert. I have deleted all temp files, went through my registry, and had Norton do a full scan in safe mode. Nothing infecting my system. So, just to be sure I'm also doing a full scan with Malwarebytes. So far nothing. I think it is a false positive as the only people reporting it are Norton users.

I was wondering about the sites slowness too. I use Firefox as well.
My sister loaded the site in IE and it didn't do anything there. I even ran some anti-virus/spyware stuff and it came up clean.
I figured they used brutes to draw people to their other games that require and email to sign up. That's where they make money, from their other games gathering emails and selling them to spam companies.

I keep getting the downloader.Swif.C alert on mybrute.com, but only in IE. With Firefox I do not get the alert. I have deleted all temp files, went through my registry, and had Norton do a full scan in safe mode. Nothing infecting my system. So, just to be sure I'm also doing a full scan with Malwarebytes. So far nothing. I think it is a false positive as the only people reporting it are Norton users.
Hi there, and no, I am. I found here while doing another round of research on this, I assume you've seen some of my posts in a few other forums about it since I've been attempting to collect information to try and figure this out. :)
So far theres 3 possibilities:
1. MyBrute itself is infected.
2. Its a hidden Trojan on our machines.
3. Its a false positive.
So far it seems only users with Symantec AV and IE are getting the message that its blocked a "downloader.swif.c" from the temp files folder. Its possible that it could be something on our machines thats manifesting on MyBrute only (though I have seen ONE person mentioned it happned on another flash site) and this is why Im trying to get information from as many places as possible since my Norton + MalwareBytes scans are coming up totally clean, I've up to date definitions and flash plugin too but I'm still having the problem.
However I'm starting to believe its a false positive caused through a recent Symantec definitions update thats being a bit hyperactive with its detection since up to now I haven't seen anyone else mention they're getting the problem with any other AV software and most are playing fine and say their machines are coming up clean. However this doesn't mean that its totally safe yet so be careful still.
I've made a topic over at the Symantec Community Forums that some "Gurus" have replied to, hopefully they're giving it a test and will forward something up the chain and find out whether its a false positive or not. Please let me know if you're using Symantec and playing fine, or you're using something other than Symantec + IE and are getting the downloader.swif.c message, since that will be crucial to discovering whether its a Symantec false positive or not.
If we've not got anywhere by tomorrow I'll e-mail the MyBrute creators and tell em to get speaking to Symantec about it, I'm sure they'll listen after I show em a few google search links of at least 4 pages of topics with people warning others not to go on it cause they're getting this message, all seem to be Symantec users so far though so I'm hoping we're clean. :)

I was trying to find info and read your posts. Seems most people are content to just blow it off, and personally I don't care about mybrute. I did care about linking to a potentially dangerous website though. I'm over it now, but what is sad is that there could be other false positives in the future. I'll be interested in seeing how Symantec takes this going forward.

This site would run slow & I would have issues with it telling me my flash player was out of date (which it isn't), but a reload or two and problem fixed.

I just had an idea. Someone should start the next next mafia game as Brute mafia where eveyone is required to sign up by creating a Brute. Your Brutes name will be your characters identity, and your votes will be cast by challenging the person to a battle. e.g. I VOTE stevey by challenging his Brute EVIL MONKEY and posting the results. The more people challenge EVIL MONKEY and WIN the more likely their VOTES will count. They can only challenge one NWR member a day (Mafia rules) & all other fights must be against random Brutes.
I haven't worked out the details, cause I'm very rusty on Mafia in general, but that would be the basis for making a Brute Mafia work. Does sound like a good idea? Could anybody make it work? All created Brutes would then be added into the NWR Clan when it becomes a reality.

arent brutes limited to fights per day? That wouldn't work if one brute gets 4 votes or more, since the cut off seems to be 3 a day (after the initial day)

A single brute can only challenge an individual brute once per day.
Everybody could challenge EVIL MONKEY once a day. won or lose. But you could not challenge EVIL MONKEY twice in the same day hoping to beat him.
Lets say I wanted to VOTE EasyCure. I would challenge your brute. then Kashogi wanted to VOTE EasyCure. He would challenge your brute too. Then you want to VOTE Kashogi. SO you challenge his brute. & so on & so on. It would work fine. you just have to post the fight as your proof of vote. & you would want to do your random fights too, to help level up your character and get your bonuses that could help you win more VOTE challenges.
A win & a loss could mean something towards voting, but like I said, I haven't worked out the details cause I'm very rusty on Mafia.

Sounds like it could be a neat idea. However, everyone would need to create a new Brute just for the game so we would all start at level 1.
I haven't experimented enough with MyBrute to tell for sure, but it seems like some Brutes are going to become much better than others out of sheer randomness (i.e. what weapons you randomly acquire, how your character levels up, etc.). Could this potentially ruin the game for some people depending on how their Brute turns out? I'd just be a little worried that everyone would know so-and-so was mafia, but we couldn't vote him out because his Brute was too powerful.

i've been beaten by Brutes alot weaker than me, and I've beaten Brutes alot stronger than me. Its all pretty random, and it would be luck of the draw. But I think it could add something new to the Mafia that is played today. Besides, if enough people vote that day for the same person, they have pretty high chance of more wins vs loses. If they play their other 2 random fights that day and continually win, they could put themselves into a position to level up faster and get those bonuses before the next guy.
But either was I think it could be a good experiment to add to the mafia formula and see how it works out. We could all start a new Brute under the Game Master (whoever is hosting the game) so that they could also pump up their current Brute as well with all the new pupils and leveling up exp..

My vote would be to just create a generic NWR Mafia Brute and then have everyone who wants to play create characters under him called NWR <user name> (so I would be NWR vudu). It would eliminate any confusion about who's who and I'm reasonable sure none of the names will have already be taken.

Yeah right. ;) BNM should get the right--not only did he bring MyBrute to NWR, he's the one who thought of Brute Mafia.
I thought of another neat idea--in certain cases players would have to fight the game master (using the NWR Mafia brute) to decide the outcome of actions. I'm not quite sure how this should work. Since all fights are public knowledge you couldn't have the mafia or roled townies fight to determine the outcome of night actions because it would give them away. But there's gotta be something neat we could do!

Game Master creates a NWR Mafia brute & a NWR Townie brute let those two fight each other and determine the winner that way. Everyone can see the Mafia Brute & the Townie Brute duke it out to see if the night action was successful or not
All special character will have a NWR <Special Role> Brute to be used as their representative fighter so that it doesn't give them away.
As far as me hosting the Mafia - Brute Wars - The New World Regime I
I haven't played mafia in about 2 years and barely remember how. I also have never hosted a game before so I wouldn't even know what I was doing. But we can figure that all out later. I'm more interested in fiding a way to make this work, cause if its successful, we can re-use our NWR Brutes for a New World Regime II & III etc. etc.

Just an update on the MyBrute downloader.swif.c alert Symantec users were experiencing with IE.
Symantec have confirmed it was a false positive and have updated their virus definitions with a fix for the problem, the alert is no longer produced when accessing MyBrute and the site now works fine with both IE and FF.
To anyone who is still getting the alert, I'd advise ya to try running Symantec Live Update in ya AV program to make sure ya have the lastest definitions with the fix in and then check it, then it should be working fine so we can all get back playing, be sure to inform everyone ya know that their machines are not comprimised by it. :)

You think they get to keep a copy of the weapon if they didn't already have it? or is it just used for that fight?
It's just for that fight. I had a guy with no weapons steal every weapon I had as soon as I used it, and he still had no weapons when I checked him out later.
And that earlier guy was just lucky enough to have both a really fast brute and lots of fast weapons. Some weapons seem more likely to let you attack more often, which is in turn based on your speed. My brute regularly attacks five times in a row with the knife (and then loses anyway because he did less damage with those five attacks than a single hit from a club).
Edit: I also found out about a new pet. I fought some guy with a very large dog. Maybe a wolf.

Number 1 when I checked was a Brute named testbrute111, and they weren't all that impressive level-wise, pupil-wise and weapon-wise when I checked yesterday. I guess it's changed since then however.

I fought some one with a ninja star who attacked first. I never got a chance to retaliate. it was very cheap. something like 11 attacks in a row.
But Lil Boy Blu got ranked!! it was 8964 when I checked yesterday. Not very high, but at least he is ranked. He's also halfway thru lvl 8.

Letz Shake is at level 5 and still only has 57 health points. WTF? Any fight I enter into I'm typically down 20 to 30 HP before the match even starts. It's not uncommon for me to have half the HP of my opponent.

For my lower level Brutes I tend to fight Search alot just hit go on the search bar - its a girl Brute and I usually beat her.
Even if I choose not to fight her, it will re roll the dice on the random brute choices it gives me, until I find someone with similar or weaker stats than me.

I regularly beat people with higher stats. In fact, when I look for "weaker" enemies I tend to lose because they'll have a wolf or ninja stars or some awesome power that doesn't show up in the basic 4 stats.

Lucky for you though that you have a dog. Those extra hits can come in handy. My Brute Syckle has a dog. When the enemy kills her dog, she usually starts to block everything and pulls out a weapon. I don't think she likes it when you kill her dog.

Pale is at level 1 and has higher HP than my level 6 Brute (by 17%)!
Not much to get, really. Just challenge random people to a duel. As you win fights your Brute gains levels, weapons, etc. and can kick more butt.
Once BNM gets to level 10 he'll be able to create a clan we can all join. At that point things should get a little more interesting because we'll be able to easily see how the others are faring.

Unfortunately, there's no way to get a master for a Brute you already have--you'd have to create a new one. (Don't worry--I made the same mistake initially!)

That too. You can make multiple brutes, so you can always make another one under BnM to keep the pyramid going.

But it can be under anybody that already has a Brute. Everyone is putting them under me so that I can get pushed up to lvl 10 faster. (Currently halfway thru lvl 8 )
Ive created a few brutes under some of the people here too, cause for every pupil you have you get an exp point, and everytime a pupil levels up the master get an exp point.

I figure I should give all my pupils an update on my status
Lil Boy Blu - Lvl 9 (about 1/5 of the way though) 31 Victories - 39 Pupils Current Ranking - 8280 (I think ranking only goes up to 9999)
I figure at this rate, as long as everyone keeps leveling up, we should have the NWR clan (New World Regime) started in about another 10 or so days. hopefully less, but losing battles really slows everyones progress down since ypou only get 1 exp instead of 2. & if you fight someone that is 3 lvls or lower than you you only get 1 exp either way, win or lose.

How do you only have 31 victories? I'm only on the beginning of level 6 and I already have 26 victories. You presumably have fought more battles than I have, considering I didn't sign up until like 2 weeks after you made this thread and I've missed a few days.
Also, Letz Shake is turning out to be totally bad ass. He's weak as hell (only 59 health points) but between dodging and his shield he almost never gets hit. ;D
How's Jack Cayman?

As far as Lil Boy Blu is concerned, its all luck of draw when you level up quickly and most of the upgrades were weapons. And i just randomly choose one of the random choices that they provide me to fight, lots of people with pets and lot of abilities. I've lost alot of fights since about 1/2 way thru Lvl 7

I notice my brute is using his weapons more. I have two instead of one so maybe the odds of your brute using a weapon goes up with the number you have at your disposal.

Impressive, but he's hardly immortal. In my last fight (http://letz-shake.mybrute.com/fight/140729669) I beat this guy (http://mikehomie.mybrute.com/cellule) who has over 3 times as much health as me. All it took was three good swings from my mighty club. His speed and agility were so low that I could hit him multiple times in a row before he would have a chance to attack me back (where he generally missed).

Yeah.. me too. Luckily i haven't seen any of these pets or i'd probably get so sick of losing i'd give up my character to one of you guys! Then again.. considering yesterday was my first fight in weeks, and discovering that almost everyone else here is double the EXP Lvl as me... my brute would probably be better off in someone elses hands!

I forced all of my friends to make pupils for my Brute and out of 8 of them 1 remains. Maybe you had reached a certain experience quota so that it would take a little longer for your Brute to be deleted.

I've participated in quite a few of them and just registered most of my characters for it. So far I haven't made it higher than 9h (out of 20h I think) so I don't know if you get anything special if you get higher up in the rankings. I haven't gotten anything from participating in a tournament so far. What I do know is that Lil Boy Blu is ranked 7020 now even though I haven't been in a tournament in weeks

I think it is possibly the buggiest site with lots of spelling errors. I guess they just got alot more popular than they expected & are not prepared for the amount of crap they have to keep straight.
Its always good until about 2:30pm (30minutes before new fights) then its [error] refresh [error] refresh [error] refresh [loading] [error] refresh [maintenance]. now I either do my fights early a day or later at night. I think they get bombarded between 2:30-9:30pm pst

Letz Shake is up to level 8 and still only has 62 HP. This is getting ridiculous. He's a pretty good character (fast, nice weapon selection, shield and dog) but a couple hits from a powerful weapon like a spear or club and he's dead. :(

It also sucks you are limited to 3 fights a day, but I understand why. The number one fighter is level 80, the next one is 50-somthing I believe. Its gotta take forever to get that high.

I forgot about the making it under somebody part, I just made one, and I just applied for the clan, my brute is Lordy C.
I've had 3 fights so far and none of them were close, I didn't get below half HP in any of them.
EDIT-- Figures as soon as I say that I lose three in a row.

Problem is, by level 9 dogs aren't really that great. They don't do much damage and generally die after a single hit. They're good for absorbing one blow that would have otherwise been directed at your character, but that's it. What you really need is a wolf ... OR A BEAR!

It's not that bad. It's there to prevent people from pouring hours at a time (or simply writing scripts) to beef up their characters in a day or two.
Just make the battles part of your daily routine. I log in every day during my lunch break.

I didn't notice it till you mentioned it, but it was only 5HP that i lost. I think thats is acceptable for a small companion.
Now it makes sense why people with pets usually have much lower HP than everybody else. You have to share them with your pets.

I lost 12 when I got my dog. I though 72 was low for HP, but 60 kinda sucks, and I feel like I've lost a lot of matches on the fact that my HP is lower. It went up today when I leveled up, though.

I've been having that problem with Lil Boy Blu. He'll pull out the club(finally), swing and a miss. then he'll throw a net, then throw away the club and go hit the guy with his fist more minimum damage. i'm yellin "WTF is wrong with you!!?" then he doesnt pull out a single weapon again till he only has a tiny bit of life left, but by then its too little too late.

Well, today was a decent day. Two of my characters leveled up to 6. bustin98 got throwing stars, and theb!tch is level 5 and gained a panther. Maximus just got thick skin.

MyBrute is the only new site I've visited lately, and between all the errors on their site and the Norton scare from earlier, I'm a little concerned that was the way my debit info was taken. Damn sorry to hear 'bout that man, sucks! This is why I rarely purchase things online, the risk is too great. Yeah some punk ass clerk can do the same thing, like BnM said, but compare that to just visiting a harlmess looking website and getting all your info stolen. Ouch.

Didn't really need that, my strength was already by far my best attribute.
My strength is more than three times that of any other stat.
Strength: 16 Agility: 5 Speed: 4
It's just the way it goes. I think your character is predispositioned to excel in one category over any other (either one of those stats or HP).

so anyways, this guy is a level 2 and he has a double morning star, basically if he hits you once he'll keep hitting you till your dead. He took out my level 6, and Dasmos level 8...what sucks is i have to wait till 1 am to play everyday.
so last night i was on making a ton of characters for a buddy so he would level up faster (he told me i could mess around with him, but then when i did he was like WTF, so i told him he's have like 20 pupils) If i can get them all up to 8 then he'll jump from a level 8 to a level 50 in no time.

i have 23 azfakas, 7 mafakas, and 1 theperm. I ran all the azfaka's one night till they were done with their 6 fights, and i ran them again the next day, yesterday i only played as thepern, mafaka 9000, azfaka 9015

For me, the systems seems to only really count one main and one secondary. I have four, and only the main one benefits from having a secondary. The other two do not contribute to leveling up. But its nice to have options and see how different characters run through the matches.

he can kill anyone with one blow of his weapon, he should really go back to that

Well Buckethat didn't get a shield or a pet when he leveled to 10... but he did get the disarm ability... Which worked out pretty damn good today. It ripped the shield out of all the opponents' hands.

So i haven't posted in this thread in some time because i've been trying to catch up to the rest of you. My brute, EasyCure is only at level 5 and i know most of you are around levels 8-10 so i got awhile to go.
With that said, today i did challenege one of our clan members for the first time in a long time. I chose Unclebob because he was the easiest brute-username to remember.
I didn't think i'd win that one, maaaaaan it was close!

Jack Cayman was actually my first brute. However, I didn't understand the My Brute website and forgot to make him a student of B-Po so I got chastised. I then created Letz Shake and started using him. Since I wasn't using Jack Cayman anymore I donated him to BNM because BNM was fond of Jack's hammer.
FYI, Jack Cayman is the main character in MadWorld. Letz Shake is from NMH.

Yeah, that's all I tend to do too. Though I've hit a recent string of bear owners with my lower level characters. Crimm Jr tends to pull winds by pure attrition because of his high health level.
The wolf is a killer unit. It gets so many hits on my characters that it does equal to or worse damage on me than bears. I want a wolf.

I think the wolf is actually referred to as a cougar or something in the game. It is larger than the dogs and grey. I've killed one bear but forgot to count hp because I didn't expect to kill it.

That's what I've been doing. I noticed that a few brutes weren't fighting anymore, so I made sure my brute fought every single day, and I made sure not to miss a tournament.

I think the farthest I've ever gotten is the 4th or 5th bracket. How high do you need to get to rank up? Or does that require multipme tournaments to raise up? I enter all of my characters all the time. Though, does raising your rank do anything like up your stats or how much your stats up each level?

I have a list of 5-6 people that P-Bo can beat and get those 2 points, but I thought it wold be fun to fight himself for victory #150. It was the first time I tried it, just to see if it would work.
& Stratos, he didn't touch himself because his clone gets double the weapons and double the stats and just hits an invisible wall (himself) until he eventually kills himself. The girl I was with tried it with her brute, and the fight seemed to last for 5 minutes as she kept blocking all her own attacks and drinking potions to replenish health.

Oh, i forgot the most important part of the combination... he has the disarm ability too, so when people actually have weapons that can hurt him, they can't keep hold of them very long.

Shield would be overkill. My level 12 lost to a level 7 in this last tournament that had a shield and thick skin. I couldn't get a hit in, they were mostly blocked.

Maximus has a shield, thick skin, and armour. His hammer toss is nice addition too.
Yes, Mr. Buckethat does not have the thick skin. Guess you were mistaken.
I'll have to face off against Mr Buckethat and see what happens. I hate having the dog though cause it dropped Maximus' health. All someone has to do is drop a net or a bomb and the dog is worthless.

Your brute did something mine almost never does--he went for the other player instead of the helper animals. I don't know if you have a special skill, or if it was just luck of the draw, but my brute will almost never attack his opponent until he takes out the other dog/panther/bear. Since a bear has such high HP, it can make for a very difficult fight.

I've been fighting a lot of dogs lately and i can't recall if my brute always goes for the master or the pet.. but i'll keep an eye out for it now that you bring it up. Normally, because of my low speed, the other players attack first which usually means the dogs attack first...
my brute either counters or takes the tiny bit of damage, but then throws a bomb and gets rid of the dog and proceeds to pummel the master.

That sux, cuz I was just starting to use your character as an easy win target for my level 12 character :( Good Job on getting a bear, hopefully you get Vitality as your next power up and it gives you 40-60 HP

I have no idea what the "h" stands for.
But the further you go in a tournament is what allows you to up your rank. Right now we are all Padawans, but if you place like 1024th in the tournament you would move up to the next rank.

I wouldn't realistically think any of us would rank up until we are about Lvl 20 or had a few pets on our leash. Bustin98 with a Vitality power up could probably go far in the tournament as long as he doesn't run into "Cry of the Damned" or "Hypnosis"

I seriously hate the way you can level up just through recruits. All of the high ranking characters have 20,000 recruits and 200 fights. By the time my characters are up that high they are going to have thousands of fights under their belts. OMG its going to be years...

But that would have limited the rapid spread of this game int eh first place.
Recruiting benefited those that were in on it early and spread it to the most active places they could find.
Besides, there is a trick you can do to create your own pupils under you so that you can get exp everytime they level up. Right now you can only do so many from the same IP address before you get no more exp.
The trick involves a modem/router reset everytime you create a character though just to refresh you IP address.

The losing HP thing is interesting when it comes to pets. How's this for a hypothesis... the game doesn't let you get a pet until your HP reaches a certain amount. I've always felt like both my guys have abnormally low HP for their levels. Maybe that's what's keeping pets away.

My theB!tch character had low HP before she got the panther. I think its still low after leveling up a couple of times. I've come across ones who have over 120 HP and have multiple pets. Its not right. I think its all just random.

Any idea how far in a tournament you need to get? The highest I've ever reached is around 9h (although I generally only make it to around 5h).

So you need to get to the 6h or 5h bracket to rank up since using those numbers you gave 6h=1025.
I think part of it is also luck of the draw because you can easily get paired up with someone way higher in level than you.

I think it depends on how many people participated in the tournament that day. I usually stagger my entries, because if you enter todays tourney then you can't tomorrows.
So I will have Lil Boy Blu Bruce Leeroy & jack Cayman enter today and then have P-Bo, Syckle and whoever else join tomorrow.

Except it didn't give me any at all. Let me know when you level up because for some reason it might have not let me get any at all ever from that brute. :/ Is Lord Stratos giving you exp? Maybe they block people in the same clan from making pupils under each other for exp boosts. Because if everyone made a brute under every other person, that's a good deal of exp getting thrown around.
Though the Mafaka9000 hasn't leveled up in a while. Is he even being used? I'll take over training him if you don't want to. I'm sure the ability to get exp from him is locked in.

Let me give you a tip to having a good day more often than not.
Tip: You can still get 2 Exp points for winning against someone 2 lvls lower than you. (If you are level 7, you can beat someone level 5 and still get 2 experience points)
Q: But how do find people 2 levels below you to fight?
A: Look through the people in the Clan, find someone 2 levels below you and fight who they are beating.
Q: But isn't that cheating?
A: Not at all. I would consider it strategic planning. Besides, the fights are still random, so you are not guaranteed a win. So good luck and happy hunting.

I just leveled up to 9 and i was excited at first, because i felt like i leveled up pretty fast this time around. What did i get as a bonus? Strength... now i'm maxed out at 10pts. What i need is some more speed/agility cuz all these other brutes have that and strengh out the ass, and they keep crushing mine because they get in first and multiple hits.
EasyCure doesn't even seem to pull out his weapons as much as he used to, so he'll just run in punching against people with clubs and axe's and ****. WTF!

I'm wondering if they are actually updating the whole interface. Either give a bit more interactivity or balance the weapons more.
It would be fairly interesting if everyone started at level 1 again.

It would be nice if you got exp from all brutes regardless of who made them(someone still has to level them up). Got exp points win or lose if someone chooses to fight you(2exp for win - 1exp for loss). got experience points for all wins while in Tournament mode(especially if you make it above 4h)

EasyCure reeeally needs to up his speed/agility dammit!
LazyCure has speed up the ass but even vs other low level brutes his strength is crappy, his endurance is as well. Hopefully he'll grow into a worthy fighter... hopefully. Speaking of which i leveled him up to level 3 and got a new ability, something called "feirce brute" but i haven't been able to see it in action yet.

It can be worse when they also pull out a weapon and use that combined with the fierce thing.

My second brute, LazyCure, reached level 4 today. WOOHOO! I wish EasyCure leveled up so fast lol I'm still at 9 with him. LC learned "tornado of blows" which will be useful when he has a strong weapon on hand. Otherwise, though, it'll be useless with his lack of strength. If he turns out anything like EasyCure, he'll only ever excel in one area and one area only.

The stick & balls are a much better weapon than the hammer for two reasons.
1. You have a much higher successful hit rate 2. You can swing it multiple times in one attack
I've had Bruce Leeroy swing it three times in a row and finish of people with hit points in the hundreds all in one attack. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened more than once.

I'm finally getting back to this after work kept me busy for so long, and for some reason hitting new levels switched up which of my characters are good and which ones suck. PartyBear learned martial arts, which it seems is a good thing to have in combination with impact, so he's been winning consistently. Fig Neutron, on the other hand, got one of the crappiest weapons, and even though he has three very good weapons, he now constantly tosses them aside without landing any hits in order to use the crappy one. Oh, and Norrissssssss got a dog, so now he can't survive anything anymore.

Sure, that can happen, but I was mostly mad because in his first few fights after getting it, he had a tendency to pull out a strong weapon, attack and miss with it once, then toss it -- over and over until all he had left was the staff. Half his hit points were gone, the enemy was mostly unscathed, and he simply couldn't do damage fast enough to make up the difference. He's stopped doing that, thankfully.

I know two of my brutes have come very close to ranking (one or two fights away on several occasions). I've divided up my brutes so that Cho Aniki is the only one I'm placing in one tournament and all the others are in another. That way less of the weaker brutes will be eliminated by my lower level ones and hopefully bump up my odds a bit.
Maybe we should ask everyone in the clan to not enter the tournament unless they are on the first page of the clan to increase the odds of fighting weaker brutes higher up the ladder? Also asking to only enter one brute per tournament would help as well.

I've been missing days sporadically but am trying to at least fight with Cho-Aniki every day since he's that close to taking 3rd place. Several of my characters are getting very close to ranking up in the tourneys so that is also motivation to keep going. Another good level up or two and Cho-Aniki may actually rank.

I haven't touched my Brutes in a little over a week.
P-Bo, Bruce Leeroy, 2Lips & Lunneyz are the only ones I still mess with though. Sickle Might get to fight if I feel like spending the time.
Truth is, mygirl has been doing all my brute fights for me up until about a week ago. With her brutes Big Shadow, Miss Luly & La Brutiz, it became too much for her, so she stopped doing all mine too.

Did you know that the fights are done before they start? Its just a Flash movie playing through a random battle sequence. If you start the fight then back out to the arena, it will show the fight took place. Its not like watching it will make a difference in how it turns out. I spend like 5 minutes a day on my brutes. Sometimes things happen pretty quick and I'll watch, but not often.

I can tell you how to create your own brutes. you should have just asked ;D
My Brute checks the IP Address so that it can track from where the pupil was made. If the IP Address of the Master is the same as the IP Address of the student, then the Master will not gain experience points from leveling.
So the only way you can gain experience from making your own pupils is to change your IP Address. And here’s how to do it.
How to change your IP Address so you can make your own My Brute pupils: Step 1: Reset your router. Turn it off completely by using the Power button. Step 2: Reconnect to the internet. Step 3: Go to your brute cellule and right click on the wood where your weapons are displayed. Step 4: Click on settings. Step 5: Go to Local Storage and slide the pointer so that no information from data.mybrute.com is stored in your computer.

Now My Brute can not store your IP anywhere and it is now possible for you to create pupils so you can gain experience points from them. Remember that after each pupil that you create, you will have to reset your router again.
Try not to get too carried away with it though.

I don't really understand the point. It seems time consuming and your main character gets very little benefit--you only get 1 point for each new recruit and an additional 1 point each time that brute levels up. It just seems like a lot of work.

You'll catch up to me eventually. I spy on you every now and then and you seem to generally win all 3 of your daily fights (6 points). I generally lose 1 or 2 (4 or 5 points), so eventually you'll catch up to me provided you play every day.

It was the vitality bonus that did it. I had terrible HP thanks to the dog I have, but once I had that, it raised it a lot.

Hay guise! Work is keeping me so busy I haven't been around, but I recently got some coworkers onto the Brute bandwagon. I had to pop in and share this video of a couple of hacked Brutes going at it (http://www.mybrutecheats.com/epic-battle-between-two-level-49999-brutes/) that one of them found. It's freaking epic.
Edit: For the record, I do not condone cheating. I did check out the opponent finder, but it wasn't that great, anyway.

Neither Waide nor Fotum are still at the level though, I just checked both of their cells. But that was a crazy battle, I wonder how many hit points they each had and that was some serious overkill on all the pets.

Type in the name of your brute, your friends brute, and two opponents, pick what level you want them to perform at, and watch a fight. First side to lose a brute loses it all, so it's not a complete fight to the death.
I've decided I'm going to stop leveling... There's really no point to any of this, and neither is there enough control for it to really be fun.

So I hit level 20 today. I got 2 HP and +1 added to my speed. I haven't had a good level up in eons. I used to get cool weapons or abilities all the time but now I get nothing. :(
Anyone else have this problem?

leveling up takes so long I don't even remember the last thing I got. I think Buckethat got like a 7 HP boost from 18 to 19.

You can actually learn what you'll gain at level up by using some of those online "Brute" preview things. Literally, you can go level-by level, and even see how your brute ends up at level 999 or so. No kidding. And, yes, everything that happens via level-up to your Brute is decided when you create it. It's fate, I suppose.

Well, I'm a little disheartened to learn I get 6th Sense in a couple of levels, but then I don't get another ability until after level 50. And even at level 999 I won't have Armor. This sucks.

Also, Letz Shake leveled up to 21 today. He got +7 HP (finally above 100!) and a shuriken.
