That would make perfect sense in Shaun of the Dead still the greatest zombie film in years...

When I was coming home tonight it looks like someone hacked another one of these construction signs (probably a copy cap of this prank) that said "Zombies Drool".

It cracks me up that they call this "hacking".
I think a better term would be "operating" or "using".

I think "hacking" is considered gaining unauthorized access. If I kept guessing your password until I got into your account, then posted stuff, would you say I "hacked" your account?

I guess maybe, but these people didn't even guess the password. This obviously all started with someone who had been "trained" in using the signs before.

'meh... it's a fine line.
Let's say there was a master-password I could use to get into any account on the forum, programmed in there by the creators of the forum - and one of these people gave me the password that I used to get into everyone's account and create havoc...

Say someone handed you the keys to a ferrari and you hopped in and drove off.
Did you hack the ferrari? No, you operated it. =P
I just think this is closer to billboard graffiti than it is to "hacking".
Hacking requires gaining access to a greater system through a loophole and then a larger playground opens up.

Dictionary.com defines Hacking as "To use one's skill in computer programming to gain illegal or unauthorized access to a file or network"
Obviously, this person gained illegal/unauthorized access to a file. Did they have to use their "skill" in "computer programming" to do so?

Well I would disagree with that definition... but either way, I don't really look at at big sign that you set what it says as a system to be hacked.
When kids talk their parents into buying those spinny LED things at a theme park, and then they set them up to say silly things like "poop", does that make them all 1337 H4><0|2Z?

No, because they're authorized to make the changes. :)
If your account says what I tell it to say, does that mean I didn't hack your account and all's well?

So what if I stole a little kid's led word thing and made it say "poop" and then gave it back to them. Does that make me a hacker?
