Tears for Fears is a really good band. For awhile, they were even my favorite band. Not anymore but probably still top 5. Good stuff. In fact, just this week, I bought their re-mastered "Songs From the Big Chair" album which is most likely their best one and the one with the songs they are most remembered for. Shout, Mother's Talk, Head Over Heels, I Believe and of course, Everybody Wants to Rule The World. However, the other tracks on there are also very good. The Working Hour for instance I find better than most of the songs on the album. Maybe it's helped by the fact that I never heard it before either and so I feel like I discovered while the other songs I have heard many times over. Listen is also a neat tune. Broken is alright. All in all, it's just a solid album front to back.
The extra tracks given on the re-mastered CD aren't anything great. The extra tracks just aren't close to matching the stuff the 8 songs the original album contained and the remixes of some of the songs are interesting but I prefer the original songs. Still, it's free, it's extra and it gives you another dimension to their music. Why should I gripe?
Really, if you aren't familiar with Tears For Fears, get familiar with them. Great stuff. If you want more reason to check out Tears For Fears, they are the ones who wrote Mad World, now most famously associated with Donnie Darko and Gears of War ads. Pale Shelter, Change, Sowing the Seeds of Love, Advice For the Young at Heart. I love it all. So many great tunes. Go to Youtube and check out their awesome videos. I recommend Head over Heels. It's probably the corniest video they ever did but it's set in a library! How many people can rock out in a library? Only one group. Tears For Fears. Plus, that's like the only video that seems to show Roland Orzabal smiling. In other videos, he always seems serious or grouchy. You may also what to check out the video for Pale Shelter where he gets a paper airplane in the eye near the end of the video. At least, it looks like it hits him in the eye. Ah, 80's music videos. How great you were.
But my point in all of this is: EASYCURE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!.

I have done it twice. Although I was about to write a long post on how you shouldn't let your fears see you tears or something along those lines, but I was sleepy and then went to bed. :)

EasyCure finally returned my copy of Pikmin. I received it in the mail today.
I have not yet opened the package. I'm afraid.
Don't be afriad. I was moving stuff around in my room and still had some unimportant items left in a temp. storage box, Daamans foul picture was still in the Okami case, which is still in the packaging he sent it in. I've been afraid to reopen it..
I thought about sending it to you when ever i got around to sending pikmin back, but then Maxi came along and wanted to borrow the used copy of pikmin i bought myself... the thought of sending it to him (and hopefully starting a chain among the forums) was tempting but:
a. Chances of it working out the way I had hoped (him sending it to someone else, eventually) were pretty damn slim.
b. He's just too damn nice and i'd probably make him lose faith in humanity for all time (plus he'd probably be too upset to ever send pikmin back! lol)
c. I just didn't want to be known as the Cartman to his Butters.
I was thinking about doing something with the cover of Okami I sent you, but I went the high road. And what fun is it if I can't be there?
Well you had his address, so you could have been there in the bushes! Besides, its plenty fun to refresh the funhouse until someone freaks out and writes a topic in what seems like a panic :)

I'm laughing at reading Maxi's posts as Butters. Its almost the voice I have for him but not quite.
And I have Vudu's work address. Security would find me in the bushes and haul me away (Reno 911?)... It would have been fun to send it in a really huge ass box full of popcorn packing. Next time, or maybe even a surprise...
