Title: Scratched GBASP!!
Post by: vid3oman64 on April 09, 2003, 03:39:35 PM
I've only owned my (Cobalt) GBASP for about two weeks. Now, I know about the Platinum's paint issue, but now my sweet little baby is scratched up..

Anyone know how to get it repainted or anything? Or am I ass-screwed?

Buy a case for it, or, as I've done, keep it in it's original plastic wrapper while you have it in your pocket. I've done this both to keep it from scratching and to keep dust out. I always got dust from my pockets in my GBC screen.

The GBA SP's screen is sealed, a rep at Nintendo told me, so you can't get anything stuck inside.  I'm really not to worried about getting my SP scratched as long as the screen doesn't.  I think I'm gonna get a screen protector to put over the real one, because the SP's screen is non-replaceable like all the previous GB's.  Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use the SP as a hockey puck, but scratches are unavoidable.
