oh, and I agree about the Mario RPG thing.  Other than sports games, that was one of my all time favorite on the SNES.

Well I sure as hell don't want Final Fantasy Tactics Advance delayed so it's release can be alongside this port but I think a Super Mario RPG port would be a great idea.  Although I already have that game there are a lot of people who never got a chance to play it so unlike something like Super Mario World which everyone has played, it's a worthwhile title to port over.  I would like Square to work on a new Gamecube Mario RPG as well.

Ever since Square resolved their "issues" with Nintendo, I've been praying for this game...I need it.

How would it work out though....didn't Super Mario RPG use ALL the buttons or was that just me?  Anyway why want a old game when we can have a new one....unless you port the old one and THEN give us the new one...sorta Capcomish.  But anyway hopefully we'll see this game somewhere down the road, unless the next mario game on GBA is Yoshi's Story and you all know how much we loved that :-\.

I am fine with a new one, but...... I want the first one first then hit me with something new.  And nintendo is creative enough to work something out with the button scheme.  I bet next gen handheld will have 4 buttons though, and possibly a analog, but not one that sticks out, maybe have an inzerted analog, where there is a little ditch for your thumb and you could roll it nice and easy, that would be confortable.

"didn't Super Mario RPG use ALL the buttons or was that just me?"

I don't think the L+R buttons were used so it would be pretty easy to port over the controls.  Plus this is an RPG so it's not like the controls have to be "just-so" anyway.  Most of the controls involve going through menus.

I remember the battles used the four face buttons with one button for attacks, magic, items, and defense/running.  That should be pretty easy to port to the GBA.

Would it be possible to port Paper Mario to GBA?  THAT would be amazing.

I have SMRPG on cart, but I'd probably buy it again.
