I didn't save them :(

The thing is, I'd take a picture and looked for a save or delete option, and all that was there was the SD CARD buttong which i clicked on with the A button, and nothing happened. I just assumed maybe it saves automaticaly. When my play session was over i went into the Photo Channel to have some fun with the pics and send them out to a few of you guys, and they weren't there!! Thats when I read the manual and got pissed off.

something else happened just now on my random late night session (my car died so i couldnt go out, so i'm trying to forget my stress with a nice relaxing game of AC<3), i neighbor said something awesome and i took a pic, but when i went to go save it i hit the 1 button by mistake... boo!
As neat as voice chat is, it just doesn't make for the awesome pics that text chat does.
And credit for those designs goes to my GF. :D

I believe so...
At town hall, when they ask you if you wish to send a Wii message they say that you can send a message and pic to a Wii, an e-mail address or celphone. I assume that if you have your e-mail registered on your game the game will send you the pic. This can only be done once a day, though so its MUCH easier to buy a card reader... ;)
I can confirm that that works. You just have to register the email address in your Wii system address book. That will send an email that you need to reply to as confirmation, and after that, you can send messages to that address from the post office. I've been using that feature to make blog posts (http://fivemica.posterous.com/) directly from the game, which is kind of cool.

Funny enough, when I bought my card reader I thought it wouldn't see much use outside of SSB Brawl snapshots. But then I realized I could use it to unload my pictures without connecting my camera, upload videos and music and use them on my 360.
They are quite cheap and you might find some use to them. Plus, AC pictures ARE part of very important memories :) .

Do you need a SD Card->USB converter? Newegg.com has some good ones on the cheap. I got mine for around $15.No, you don't need it. If you have a digital camera, you can put the SD card into your camera and transfer them using its USB cable.

I admit I got a tad burned out, and once I got new games to play AC kind of went away.
The only time I checked the game was on my birthday because I wanted the cake and presents! I am sad to confirm, however, that the flowers that made this town unique are all dead. Worse, the grass didn't even grow back!
The houses are incomplete and filled with roaches. Its a mess :( .

You never really quit Animal Crossing, you just go on sabbatical whenever you get a new game. But you'll be back, whether it's to get one more fish, catch one more bug, find one more piece of furniture, or simply just to visit a friend.That is the way I am with Brawl, AC and Pokemon.
I may have to host a "welcome back to AC" party and ask people to help me re-plant the flowers in town...
One thing that is so unappreciated about AC is the witty and funny dialogue that is in it. It has a quirky charm to it.
