Title: Saints Row 2

Surprised there has been no topic for this game. Well I finally got to play it a bit and I really enjoy this game, the humor is so off the wall with tons of goofy things you can do that it has to be my favorite sand box game. Whether it is seeing how far I can toss pedestrians (Preferably through a window, off a cliff or into a water fountain), trying to break my car surfing time (Yes you heard that right), or watching cops go after hit and run cars with guns blazing. The game has so much goofy humor and action that it is hard to find much wrong with it beyond that the visuals which are not GTAIV quality.

So its more fun than GTA IV that scored a 10 on billions of reviews *gasp* I would of have never guessed!

GTA IV is severely underwhelming...
I definitely had more fun with the first of this series and even more fun with Crackdown.

Like I said this game isn't nearly as flashy as GTAIV visually, but its "anything goes" gameplay design make it a blast. I think a problem with GTAIV is that it leaned to far, at least for me, towards realism.

Yeah GoBots had the better opening theme, by far.

GTA IV is a great game, but it's not worthy of 10/10. It's a solid 9/10 to me. It's the same formula, just bigger and better.

Well bigger is kind of off compared to San Andreas it is tiny. But I'd agree with you overall.

I used to prefer Gobots to Transformers. At least the robot mode looked like the cartoon. But then I got over Ironhide and Ratchet and fell in love with the Aerialbots.
GTA IV has been fun so far, but its starting to get boring. Can't Nikoli date anyone other than Michelle? She's getting mouthy.
I did the demo for the original Saints Row and found it 'ok', but that's my take on the GTA series too. I want to try Saints Row 2, but I don't want to buy it.

Bustin, Saints Row 2 seems to have its "identity" while Saints Row one was kind of a gap game before GTAIV. It is like the goofy opposite of GTAIV now and FINELY can stand on its own (even though I still prefer the first game to GTAIV).
