Is it half-assed like the internet is lead to believe?

Heh, and I went out on a limb for you all saying you'd come up with "good" questions. =P

A little context would help.

There really isn't any.... Uhmm, assume the person answering said questions knows a ton about the game?
Questions could range anything from "Why is it on Wii?" to, "Will Kratos have any sweet new abilities?" =P

Wait, is this an interview with the developer or what?
Here's two questions anyway...
1) What role do the characters from the original game play? Will they only be playable for short segments before leaving, or will they follow you throughout the entire game (as you meet them, of course)? 2) Length of the game in comparison to the original?

Gamespot's preview mentions that Emil says "sorry" a lot. Am I going to want to slap him around as much as I wanted to slap around Collete?
How many monsters in the game can you form pacts with? Are there any you can't form pacts with? Can you form pacts with bosses? Is there a limit to the number of pacts you can form?
Is the game playable if I decide I don't wanna catch 'em all?
Are AI party members smart enough to participate in forming pacts without micromanagement, or at least smart enough to not screw it all up?
Is there anything for other players to do between fights?

Do monsters suffer permanent death?
Is there any breeding involved in monster evolution?
How many characters form a party in battles? Is there a fixed ratio of human(ish) characters to monsters?

1)Is the ability to carry over stats and data after you clear a game present as in the original?
2) Will there be more spoken dialogue this time around? ToS was one of the few games that got the voice acting just right. Not flat, but not too hammy either..

3) What was the basis for adding motion-capture to the game (a first for the Tales series), and will this be standard from now on?

Does the game connect, story wise, to Phantasia in any way?

Maybe this is already common knowledge, but which ending from ToS is considered canon?

Why the hell did everyone compare ToS's storyline to Final Fantasy X?
ToS had a more interesting cast then the entire population of Spira.

NOT IN MY WORLD!
When I play, "Zelos" is actually his equally annoying twin brother Belos, and I hope he dies too...

What prompted the decision to make sequel in the world of Symphonia?
Are there any plans to continue to bring future Tales games to the Wii?
How many monsters can be active members of your party at one time?
Are some monsters more difficult to recruit than others?
Are there any advantages to recruiting as many monsters as you can?
Are the skits voiced in the English version of the game?

When can we see more tales games here in America?
WE LIKES TALES TOO *cries*
In seriousness though, will we see more Tales games on Nintendo in the US?

"What prompted the decision to make sequel in the world of Symphonia?"
Cheap cash-in, excuse to build off of a story that's familiar (the most successful Tales game ever), and re-use assets without creating entirely new content.
"Are there any plans to continue to bring future Tales games to the Wii?"
The next big Tales game was confirmed exclusive to Wii months ago. No worries. unless it's a cheap sequel to Dawn of the New World
"How many monsters can be active members of your party at one time?"
Up to 3. Emil or Marta must be in the combat party.
Q: Why is the cel-shading/art in this game a complete disappointment?
Q: Is there less gameplay in this game compared to first one?
Q: Are all the special attacks from the original cast carried over?

Will there be improved Union attacks that involve more than 2 characters and will the utility of unison attacks increase?
Had mid-battle party member substitution been considered and if so why not or maybe in a future title?

What was NWR supposed to do with these questions? Sit on them?
Why isn't SCAMCO advertising the game?
Did SCAMCO see Reggie's release strategery for Disaster: Day of Crisis and say to themselves, "Brilliant! We shall do the same!"
