The system will debut with a port of Capcom’s popular platformer, Ghouls 'N Ghosts. This will not be the first time Ghouls 'N Ghosts has graced the Virtual Console; the Genesis port was released last summer in North America and Europe. The SuperGrafx port is known to have superior animation than the Genesis version.
There will be very few future Virtual Console releases for the SuperGrafx, if any. In all, the system only had five dedicated games released, with an additional two PC Engine games, both versions of the shooter Darius, that had slight graphical upgrades when run on the SuperGrafx. Ghouls 'N Ghosts will retail for 800 Wii Points upon its Japanese release in October. There is no word yet if SuperGrafx games will be appearing in the rest of the world.
Who is this Penguin_Of_Time? This is his (her?) first post on the boards. Welcome new staffer!
Can the 32X be far behind?
Its got at least double the titles of SurperGrafx, though I don't know of any killer exclusives aside from Knuckles Chaotix. ;)
Nintendo's VC emulator can't even handle the N64 memory pak or expansion pak right now. I think 64DD support is quite a stretch.
i seriously wonder if its worthy of the time to make the emulator. I mean very few people will buy those games on VC and I doubt the effort will be justified by that much money.
