Title: What was that game?

I must be getting old. That or I'm trying to remember something I'm better off not remembering. I played a demo, first person shooter, that had enemies coming out of shadows, escaped convicts, and these sonic thing a ma jigs on walls that you to switch your vision or something in order to see them.
Any help would be great.

I didn't play too much of it, but I think it sounds like Condemned: Criminal Origins.
