Title: Anyone Still Play Endless Ocean?
Post by: D_Average on August 13, 2008, 02:30:25 PM
As I picked up Power Pros at Circuit City the other day, I noticed Endless Ocean was still selling for its original price of $29.00.  Given thats it has a nice polish to it with some casual appeal, I'm sure its sold fairly well.

That said, does anyone still play this title who picked it up earlier this year?  If so, what keeps you coming back?  Initially I thought about picking it up, but decided not to thinking my wife and I would grow bored with it in a few days.

Whats keeping me wanting to come back is cause I barely started it, but enjoyed what I did play.

I've been far too busy to play time-intensive games like Endless Ocean (I still have a long ways to go in-game), which is a shame because I have an almost unhealthy obsession with marine wildlife... =(

I played it steady for about two weeks to beat the storyline. After that it would just be collecting treasures and touching fish to get a 100% completion. Playing the game that way felt contrary to the spirit of the game itself!

The fishes just want to be free, dude. Don't oppress with them your "rules" and the "Man" with his arbitrary lists!

Its too bad though that there isn't a mode where you go sneak up on shark poachers with an underwater grenade launcher...

This is true, and supposed to be a family game?  What kind of deception are they peddling to our children?

How are you going to inset an obligatory Steve Irwin joke onto the end of KDR's obligatory Steve Irwin joke?

The man who got impaled by a stingray was impaled by a string ray.
