Actually, I have a somewhat similar yet still awkward story. After I stole my last girlfriend (who I just recently broke up with) from her old boyfriend a couple years ago, me and him went out to have some coffee and discuss what had happened. While there, I ran into my other ex who I had just broken up with a few months prior (who I had denied making up with just that week due to being in a new relationship) sitting with a "guy friend".
A double dose of awkward, if you will.

For some reason this reminded me of a story my friend told me just a few weeks ago when he was back in town from college:
(Short-Short version)
After hanging out with a guy friend and some chick that happened to be a security gaurd for his campus that they just met that evening and getting super wasted...
They go back to her house to watch movies, somehow ended up in bed with the chick in the middle. He had his back to them and felt her hands running up and down him, peeked over and she was doing the same to him so after a bit they both have the same idea and start feeling her up some. He claims all he grabbed was boob (i bet it was less cuz he's a loser).
I forget how but he stopped fooling around cuz "it was weird" so he turns his back to them again and hears them fooling around. Says it took him 10 mins to realize they were screwing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM in her bed. He leaves, goes to the couch in the living room to sleep.
They come out and start screwing around in the other couch, he leaves again and goes back to the room.

There was only 3 of us in the house - me plus the other 2. BANG BANG BANG from where the bed is slamming against the wall. I can here that PLUS all the associated noises coz the walls are that thin.
I had to put up with about 2 hours of it until they finally had enough. The following morning i (happily!) reminded them that the walls are an inch thick and i'm an incredibly light sleeper - Footsteps can wake me. The look on their faces was priceless.

i agree with you but in his case, this is probably the closest he's ever been to having sex so if i were him i would of bit the bullet (and nothing else!) and gone thru with it. Besides, the way he told the story it sounds like the chick was so drunk it didnt matter who she screwed as long as she got off. He could of easily been the one to initiate and get more action than just grab a boob, and his friend would of been the one to back off at the thought of The Devil's Threesome and left the room.

I actually have problems meeting women, 'cause I don't really give a **** about them. I expect them to fall into my lap and/or chase me around. I tend to get into relationships with girls who I've known for awhile already due to some other circumstance. I'm terrible at meeting ANYONE new, let alone anyone of the female persuasion.
It probably doesn't help that I don't drink and refuse to drink, which is very difficult for a lot of girls my age to put up with, it seems.

i never had an awkward dinner moment with an ex but there was this one time that she walked into a pool hall my gf and i were at. She came in with two friends; One whom i havent seen since graduating highschool, The other is a mutual friend from high school and one we worked with.. and i later found out she made out with (and possibly screwed) him towards the end of our relationship together.
They fucking walk over to our table and make small talk which i didnt want because the reason i was there in the first place was to blow off some steam. I have to introduce my gf to them and my ex acts all super friendly as if she wasnt a huge bitch when we broke up, and i know the main reason they came over was the friend who i hadnt seen in years wanted to catch up.
I wasnt comfortable though, it wasn't so much an akward moment.. i was just mad to see them. I wasnt in the mood to run into anyone i knew. So they're talking to me and i just pretend to be super concentrated on my game. I make a few shots in a row until my only good shot is a risky one.
We're playing 8 ball. Lets just say i was solid, she was stripes. One of her striped balls was in the way of an easy side pocket shot for me, I didnt wanna miss anything becuase if i did i'd have to stand around during her turn while my ex and company kept blabbing on and on about random ****. At the time i was a regular at the pool hall, i was seriously there almost every day of the week, so i was pretty good, but i wasn't that god to do a masse shot when i really needed one. Did i pull it off?
Yes. Perfectly. Hop the cue ball over the striped ball, hit it in such a way that it knocked my ball into the pocket, and the cueball didnt move an inch. It barely bounced upon landing. Sweetest shot i ever made (on purpose).
After making that shot my ex goes "whoa.... uhm.. we're gonna go start our game, we're just wasting money standing here and we dont wanna break your concentration." Shut them all up, they just said bye and walked across the hall to their table.

with my ex, while i heard a pop while i was going, and then pulled out noticed the condom was broken. Then we never finished. I was so freaked out about maybe getting her pregnant that i pretty much forgot about all the happenings.
She said months later "yeah my boyfriend can't believe i'm still a virgin", and i was like "cus your not". Then she said, but "you didn't get in all the way" Then i wasn't sure for a while, because I couldn't remember what exactly happened. I had heard from my sister in law she read some article about how some guy screwed some chick legs once and i thought that might have been what happened. Than when i was with the second girl it all came back to me. Its funny how you remember things you forgot when your in a similar situation later on. this compares to my friend A, who was a marine, and is in perfect shape, does drugs and dates strippers. Friend B is chubby but hilarious, he dates a fat girl who we rarely ever see, but she does put out.
I've had the really long relationship, and then the really long self induced single time.
In statistics we have things called runs. These are occurrences that happen consecutively in a period of time. Then there is frequency, runs that happen on such a regular basis as to be expected. Then there are events, things that happen randomly without any sort of rhyme or reason. My love life could be classified under events. I just want to meet someone that i can have a good run with. Something steady and something good.
i would feel more hurt by Stogi's implications that it could be worse and that he could be theperm, but i know that its all a learning experience and in the end i have nothing but knowledge to gain.

By the end of that relationship we were both sick of eachother, it just came down to who was going to break up with who first and my only regret is that i wasn't stronger then and pulled the trigger myself. Maybe i was naive but i thought maybe it was just a rough patch and things would get better so even though my eyes might of wondered i never strayed from her. lol im surprised, so far way off. Look at facial structures...none of them have had plastic surgery, one of them needs it.

the more i look at some of these pictures, the more i don't want to play this game.
i refuse to believe some of those girls are that ugly looking, and they're just really bad pictures, cuz it takes alot for me to look away from someone (or their freaking picture!)
