The game looks cool and it's awesome that they are going for indy music my main problem is that it's a memory/monkey see monkey do type of game.

LOL this game looks pretty cool. I'm a slight bit un sure about how well I'm going to understand the whole robot does the move then I duplicate it thing. But we'll see.
I really love how the publisher talked in that video. Very honest sounding, very down to earth. Really refreshing to hear that.

This video looked cool enough to convince me to buy the game.

Yes I think I will buy this. I think the sounds track will be cool. And I love me a rhythm game that requires physical movement. I'm not a guitar hero person.
Like I said the only thing I am hesitant about is that the robot does the moves right before just to show you what to do, I think that's a little weird and my be disorienting.
But they seem confident we will enjoy it. As always.

Ya, I'm looking forward to this, it looks like an awesome game. It really does.

I have to agree with Dasmos on this one. It looks like it would get boring after about 5 minutes.
I think the execution looks very confusing. Long combos look like they're going to be a pain in the ass because you make the moves several seconds after the the robot moves but you still have to pay attention to the timing bar at the top.

Techno is the big draw here, right?

Also you need 2 Wii remotes for 1 person to play this game, I'm on the fence because the main problem is the robot moves before the timing notes and in long sequences it can be confusing and some people may be confused because of mirroring, (if the robot moves it's right arm you have to move your left arm and so forth).
Shyguy - The big draw is indy techno music.

Ya I agree, I am worried about that.
They game doesn't look awesome, but I still want it. I just hope I can do it.

This game reminds me a lot of one of the minigames in Rayman Raving Rabbids TY Party (read my impressions)...

I just got this. The first thing everyone should calibrate the movements. This will give you a better feel for the controls. There is also a tutorial so you can get better.

as I won't be buying it if it is crap.

Ok so I played I for about a hour. I have enjoyed it so far. Ok Flames before you start a song you can press the a and b buttons to determine what wiimote controls each of the robots hand. So I have a wiimote in each hand so I press a and b on the left to use my left hand to match the robots left hand.Vudu that is a minor problem, but is similar to DDR because you have to keep a eye on the arrows while timing your movements. I think it is a bit easier to manage in this game. You start with 5 songs and you unlock the rest by how many songs you played.I personally like this game. Even when I am not doing well, I enjoy it because of the music. Vudu's point stands. It is somewhat difficult to keep your eye on the robot and the timing bar, but if you can adapt to it then you will do great. All in all this is a great game with a minor fault. Edit: I made a mistake on how you unlock songs.I had A rank. Now I have songs played.

Well Maxi the thing is in traditional music games like DDR or beatmania you hit the note when its on the marker in Helix you see the action before you have to perform it which can cause some sort of disconnect.
Imagine if Helix was as fast as Beatmania in "Another" difficulty (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzSOQJPx73g).

I was agreeing with Vudu in my post. Yes I can see that it would be a problem if the game were like that.

Just got this in for review and I must say I am enjoying it. Playing it on easy is a reasonable challenge. Tried hard for S&Gs and holy crap is it hard.
Anyway, going to be playing more tomorrow night and will hopefully have the review up this weekend.
If anyone has any questions Maxi hasn't answered I'll be glad to fill you guys in.

Ok I just unlocked all the songs. There are 26.I did it on Easy. I got A rankings on all the songs except 1 in which I got a S rank which is 100%. 90% is A. 80 is a B and so on down the line. I am going to try Hard and Normal tommorrow because I am tired. There are like 3 songs on easy that you have to keep a eye on the robot and the bar.I have learned that if you keep your eyes in between the robot and the bar you can keep a eye on both.Another thing memorize the robot's movements that way if you see a little bit of it you can recollect the movement and react accordingly.

OUCH.
IGN rates this game a 4.3 / 10 (http://wii.ign.com/articles/906/906250p1.html)
I never been into these types of games, so I won't comment further I just wanted you guys to know this score.

These types of reviews I despise. Totally unprofessional.I can't wait till Mr. Jack reviews it.

Horrible review, he didn't mention a bunch of features especially the calibration feature. I think it's a love it or hate it thing. This game isn't really for everybody though I'm still on the fence about it but the 10 dollars is probably going to go to The Last Guy on PSN.

How is it unprofessional? Because you do not agree with the score?

No it was not about the score. It was how it was written.

I wouldn't say the review is unprofessional, it just seemed like the reviewer came into the game with a preconceived notion and played it just to confirm what he already felt.
His review clearly misses the point, and it really misses the mark in terms of score. He bares discusses the gameplay and makes the case that you can just flail around and win (not true). You might be able to get by for a little while like that, but you will eventually miss enough and lose. The soundtrack thus far is actually very good, and I find it strange that he criticizes it when it is more or less what you would find in a DDR game.
This visuals are pretty much not important and the shallow visualizer in the background provides just enough background noise to not be distracting but still give the game some personality. I don't even understand the jabs at the shallow motion stuff, the game is impressively good at recognizing gestures and at least on the medium difficulty the game is challenging and fun.
Like I said before, the guy seems to have used his review to justify his predetermined hate of the game. Sure you look like an idiot playing it (he must've been too cool for it), but it is a ton of fun while you are playing it. Someone needs to fill him in that he doesn't look any cooler rocking out with his plastic guitar or drumset.
All in all, crap review and it doesn't even begin to describe any aspects of the game. Stuff like this should be an embarrassment to IGN. It is clearly obvious to me that they barely put 5 minutes into the game, and really phoned it in.
FYI, I'm leaning towards giving this game an 8 because it does have some flaws but is ultimately very enjoyable, and can make for a great complement to something like Wii Fit for upper body work out.
