Description of Duties
* Creating and executing a test plan for Wii's USB devices * Executing test plans with great attention to detail and documenting bugs * Writing test procedure documents, gathering, and learning required software/hardware * Reproducing bug reports and helping find work-arounds or resolutions
Summary of Requirements
* Extremely thorough with keen attention to detail and accuracy * Able to execute scripted tasks lists with regular repetition * Ability to reliably report and track defects via spreadsheets or other bug tracking software with great detail
** This is a CONTRACT position

Headsets plugged into the Wii? Ewwww... Bluetooth or plug into the Wii remote please....
Plugging em to the Wii remote will be interesting since it will need a pass through port for a additional expansion. USB or bluetooth will be the cleanest way through. If they go the USB or Bluetooth route then it will look like that they won't need to shove some proprietary crap on us *cough cough MS cough cough*. This generation Sony and Nintendo has been good about that but zeroing it in on industry standard components.

The headset would need a double sided plugin like Christmas lights have, that way you could still use a nunchuck.

Bluetooth headsets make the most sense.
It would use the exact same protocol that the Wiimote and now the balance board use now.

The only downside with USB that I can think of is, apparently, the Wii has a memory limit of 10 devices. 4 Wii Remotes, 1 Balance Board, 4 USB headsets (does each player *really* need one? Are the any 4-player online games right now anyway?)... Doesn't leave much room for anything else...

UB your right and wrong at the same time. USB devices do not register with a machine, the Wii or any device would only care about it if its connected to a USB slot and if it needs to be accessed worse case scenario there needs to be a driver so the machine knows what to do with it.
Bluetooth devices do have a memory limit the PS3 has one as well. On the PS3 I think its 4 six axis, 1 headset (bluetooth), 1 bluetooth remote control (Sony's movie remote) and some room for expansion. PS3 and Wii has similar limits and if a new device is registered a old device is over written of the same type. The reason that this exists is that each device has a different ID other wise there would be conflicts with the bluetooth devices and the memory set aside for bluetooth devices keeps track of which device IDs are registered with your machines.

All I want is a Hard Drive.
I am sure that some specially encyrpted Hard Drive is coming out...something that perhaps locks it from being attached to a PC for pirating...but hey the hackers will eventually find away around it.
Perhaps that is what they are trying to determine though...if their hard drive is hacker proof?

nothing has to be hacker proof, just reasonably difficult to deter the non hackers from at least trying. If they don't at least try then everybody will steal their games and they lose even more money than if they don't at least make it hard.

Maybe if games weren't priced so high (and of better quality) people would purchase them regardless of pirated versions floating around?

Not true. You can download individual songs for less than a buck. Some of these songs are pretty good quality. Yet people still steal them.

You can download DRM infested songs. Why not just go to the store and buy a good album for $10? The last several albums I bought were just that, the day of release, at my local K-Mart. Any band worth listening to will make an album worth buying for that price. Individual song downloads are for one hit wonders and top ten pop stars on the radio.

Itunes, Zune Marketplace other DRM protected music services are popular because as long as you have a broadband connection you can get the content now rather than driving to the store or buying the CDs online it's basically a matter of convenience. Do you think the mainstream gives a damn about DRMs or even know what they are?

Or you can download what's available at iTunes Plus or everything at Amazon .mp3 with no DRM. Single track downloads are great when a song pops into your head and you want to listen to it you get it immediately. Online music stores also allow you to download full albums, something I've done a lot recently. I don't have anywhere near enough room to store CDs of every album I have on my computer, and I don't feel like taking the time to go to the store, find the album I want, wait in line to pay for it, come home, and rip the disc into my computer.

Well now the same guy who said the Geeks and Otakus thing said this:
