As you may, or may not have noticed, the most current new user (right now, at least) is yourface2547. He is one of my friends, and I got him to join the forums. So let's welcome him, right?
And please, noone say he's a dupe account of me, because he's not. He's just my friend.

I am amazed that apparently 2546 other "yourfaces" are registered at NWR. This is truly a shocking revelation.

I tried to register 'yourballs', but I stopped trying after it appeared to be 2067 'yourballs's already registered.

Buy really, please stop. Anyways, my friend is having troubles recieving his confirmation email. Might something be wrong, and he wants to know what he could do.

It actually took me 4 times to register to PGC. I say try that.

Hmmm. Well he told me that he already re-sent the email 4 times. Maybe his email is just slow or something...

Well, I don't think his email is slow or anything, because he's been checking it all evening, and no email. Also, he has sent the email multiple times (more than 4) and it still hasen't come in. Is this a NWR problem or an email problem. ... I'm guessing something with his email, but does anyone else have advice?

He told me that he is using Yahoo. A new email would definitely determine the suspect here, though. I use Hotmail though, and Hotmail has always worked in terms of verification emails for me, so I could recommend for him to try a Hotmail email.

No i was being serious. Like 75% of our users (all 20 of us) had problems starting their account because of that stupid verification emails. I tried 6 other usernames before i got lucky with this one. Its a right of passage

spike, spikage, mysticspike, if I remember correctly spike also had some trouble logging in those early days so it should not come as surprise.
My first attempt at an account was just therat, and when it told me someone already had that name I thought yeah right, so I did animecyberrat because that was the name I used on the Star Wars forums and the transformers newsgroups.
I never did get the confirmation email, I sent a **** load of emails to bloodworth like every day until he got me in.
