Title: So I sold my DS Lite today...

at first I was thinking cuz I needed money to pay up my internet bill I'd just sell it and be done with it, but when I went to GS they actually gave me a lot more money than I figured they would, and that doesn't usually happen, so I decided forget paying up the internet, I'm going to best buy.
Well turns out they had this 500GB USB HDD for under $100 so I caved in and bought it, and I still have enough money left over to go see Indiana Jones tonight with my friends, so yeah now i am depressed, I sold me DS for a HDD and a movie ticket somebody shoot me please. :(

If you can somehow come up with around $30 you can probably sell your HDD and movie ticket and buy back your DS.

I was depressed until I hooked this sucker up to my PC and started doing the math and as soon as I figured out how many movies I can store on it, verses how often I actually play my DS, I was ok with it again. Besides I still have my cell phone to play tetris and ms pac man on.

If you want Tetris you should get the Wii Ware one that they said may include balance board support.

So in the end you didn't pay for the internet? Wasn't that kind of the point? Are you going to now sell the hard drive to pay the internet bill? Maybe I'm just mininterpretting something but it sounds like you completely abandoned the whole original plan, thus leaving the original problem unsolved. I think that would depress me more than selling the DS.

Tough break man. On the other hand, living with only 2 GBs of free space (like me) is very constricting, so it's good to know you have breathing room.

no, no I got the internet taken care of first. Well my parents were kind enough to help out but in the end it didn't matter.

I've been needing an external HD for months now. I frequently find myself having to clear out space because my hard drive has <500MB. I just haven't had the money since I bought that RAM.

I know, depressing huh? I promise as soon as I get my finances straightened out I am ging to buy a brand new DS, I want to get a blue one this time and a pink one for a friend of mine. But until then I am stuck selling everything I can. I am this close to selling my SNES, but I think I will hold off as I am still debating if I should sell that, or my beloved DC first?

So my mom found out I sold my DS and she is now pissed at me, cuz she was going to get that Crossword game and take my DS on the bus when she goes to work. Now she does not have that option so she said I had to let her take my I-pod so she could watch some Doctor Who instead, but my I-pod died on me, I am having a bad week.

oh I diverted the whole ordeal, my I-Pod is on it's way to Apple for replacement so she is SOL. As soon as I get it back, well by then she will have forgotten all about it.
