 Hudson Entertainment revealed today that the Wii exclusive, Deca Sports, has just been completed and will be coming to Wii May 13 at the budget price of $29.99.    

Deca Sports offers a compilation of ten sporting events including Soccer, Beach Volleyball, Supercross, Kart Racing, Basketball, Snowboard Cross, Badminton, Figure Skating, Curling and Archery. All of the offered sports will make use of at least the Wii Remote for the most intuitive pick up and play experience. Though the game is built to cater to the casual crowd, advanced controls are offered for the expert gamer.    

All sports offer support for single and multiplayer, and some even feature co-op play. The single player experience will allow you to test your skills in a league environment. Here you can earn medals and trophies, and later view them in the Locker Room.    

Deca Sports will be available May 13, 2008 for $29.99.

If this actually turns out well, with the budget pricing, it is a no brainer purchase for me.

This is sweet. And cheap. And awesome.

Figure skating people. Curling. Those two sports alone are worth $30.

Hell yes, hope the freeloader still works when this comes out and i'll definitely import. It's going to be a budget $80 in Aus.

With titles like Deca Sports Wii Sports 2 shall never be a reality...

But really, Deca Sports looks awesome and a really great "sequel" to Wii Sports. At 30 bucks its a must buy for me!

You're confusing them with DDI and Phoenix games ;) .

But seriously, Hudson may not be a fantastic company, but they make very fun and solid games. Even the Mario Party games shine on occasion. So please, don't confuse them for other third parties.

Just wanted to let you all know that NWR just got a demo of the game that includes 4 of the 10 sports.  I'm not sure who will be writing a preview and/or impressions yet (it may be me), but expect them on the site soon.
