Hmm... the Japan launch has about $80 worth of Wii Ware games, and I only have $50 budgeted for the American launch... I need to save up more money...

5-15$? Is that 500-1500 Wii points or some exchange-rate adjusted thing?

You're going to buy every WiiWare game? What's wrong with you?

I would be more worried about where to store them, rather than afford them.

Wiiware games are the new third party.

I, good sir, clean out my fridge. &P. Actually, I have an SD card that I back up EVERY SINGLE one of my VC games to. It's only 1 gig, but my entire VC collection is on there with 4400+ blocks to spare. It'll take me awhile to fill up the 1Gig card, and I wonder if I'll EVER fill up a 2gig card...

The price seems very reasonable. I just hope they make some new retro games. Would love to see sequels to stuff like old bashers in the vein of Streets of Rage or River City Ransom. Especially older games that just don't work on portables. Maybe hammer (canceled Wii game) will find a home on WiiWare.

OMG if people made River City Ransom clones on WiiWare I would DIE from HAPPINESS.

Actually, Hudson is already making Star Soldier R, a sequel to their classic vertical scrolling shooter franchise which is on VC. Maybe other franchises and companies will follow suit?

Speaking of RCR, Kunio's (the series that RCR is part of) Dodgeball DS came out in Japan recently.

All I needs is my Dr. Mario. Can't believe that's not on the VC yet, after they went and canceled Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the Gamecube on me...

I know. I was actually waiting for that one! LOL.

Dr. Mario here also looks like it's got some new modes, so ::thumbs up:: at Nintendo for not doing a very boring straight port.

It's bullshit! I wont stand for it! Also why don't they try wii point totals that aren't 500, 1000 and 1500 for a change? Why can't be get 200 point games?

If some developer out there can make a game that makes sense at 200 WiiPoints, it could be a distinct possibility. Nintendo has said that they work with the developer to determine the "right" price point.

What sort of WiiWare game would "work" for all parties involved at 200 WiiPoints Rabicle? Post your idea here: http://nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=13310.140 (http://nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=13310.140) !!!

You're a rarity there. Most people seem to be looking at the storage issue and being angry at the lack of a solution and deciding to not buy any Wiiware games. :|

I've seen cables that you can use to hook up a digital camera to an iPod and transfer the photos onto its hard drive.

Hey that's a good idea, since I ran out of room on my Wii system memory a long time ago, I already back up the games I don't play that often, but I never thought of backing them all up. I mean it can't be any more hassle than actually switching cartridges, cables, channels etc to swap NES games to Genesis games, etc. I even bought a 1GB Sd card just for my Wii. Ok I lied I got it for Christmas but that is the reason why I asked for it in the first place.

I think these prices are quite fair, and they are almost in line with Xbox Live Arcade games. Sadly this also means my money will dissapear into another Nintendo made black hole.
