This is the great thing about Wiiware. Money doesn't need to be spent on manufacturing discs and so forth, so all sorts of crazy game ideas are now going to see the light of day when they wouldn't have before. ;D

However, I must agree with you about WiiWare. The other day I was thinking how we could end up seeing more crazy and weird games on WiiWare than on normal Wii games because developing for WiiWare is cheaper, especially since you don't have to create physical copies of it and distribute them. Not only that, its easier to take the risk on WiiWare.
In other words, a quirky game like Major League Eating can do better on WiiWare than at retail.
