Title: Who is the fastest character in Brawl? (SPOILERS!)

Check out this video (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CNdLECu0Zh4). What the player did was create a flat stage, then he timed how long it took the characters' to get to the end. While the first and last character were expected, I find it very surprising how some of the heavy characters are actually faster than some of the middleweight ones.
I won't spoil it for anyone so go on and see for yourselves.

Just like Melee and SSB, you need to remember that running speed means very little for most characters beyond the extremes. It's their attacking speed and recovery that really matters. Remember that running speed doesn't exactly correlate to attacking speed, and it shows for some of the heavy characters and others, like Lucas.

Sucks that wolf is slow, but this did make me interested Metaknight more.

Kind of a fun video. I never played as Jigglypuff much. Never realized she was that slow.

Ganondorf is sloooooooooooow.
Anybody have any thoughts on Ganondorf? He was pretty good in Melee, but it looks like he got nerfed pretty heavily.

lol Sonic is fast. Has anyone seen the video of the guy racing him with bunny ears on Big Blue. I found that pretty funny.

Anybody have any thoughts on Ganondorf? He was pretty good in Melee, but it looks like he got nerfed pretty heavily.
He had some very important moves nerfed very hard, and others improved. Depending on how you played, this could make him worse or better than before. I compiled a, fairly, complete list of changes for him here:
He definitely took a hit to his all around brute strength, but several of his moves are quicker now, or have very different effects added to them like his Up and Forward B moves.

DAMN IT. I abuse that move like crazy.
What about his aerial Forward A? You didn't mention that.
