It is 2008, what games are you looking forward to? What games are you going to buy? What Surprises do you hope to see announced?
Games I am looking forward to/Going to Buy:
Smash Bros. Brawl Wii Fit Super Mario Kart Wii Boom Bloks Okami Ninja Reflexes/We Love Golf
Surprises I hope to see:
Street Fighter 4 on the Wii (Special Edition comes with Super Street Fighter 2 HD) Animal Crossing Wii Hard Drive for Wii Ware and Virtual console games Red Steel 2 Actually turns out Good. Time Splitters 4 Comes out on Wii.

My 2008 gamelist is as follows Buy List Mario Kart Wii, Super smash bros. Brawl, Okami, TOS 2, Alone in the Dark, De Blob, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Samba De Amigo, King of Fighters:The Orochi Saga, Mushroom Men, Spore, and Fragile.
Boom Blox, Baroque, Opona, and TNA Impact.

Beyond those I am not that impressed with this years Wii lineup, looks like I may actually buy more of the competitors games.

House of the Dead 2+3 Returns One less reason to ever bother with hooking up the Dreamcast, and I've only ever played 3 in the arcades which is like eighty dollars a go.

I'm waiting for E3 or some other big conference for Nintendo to reveal their holiday lineup.. Animal Crossing will be shown for sure.. then we'll get F-Zero or Star Fox or Kirby or hopefully Pikmin.
I'm very excited for Disaster, but I'm worried because it was revealed at E3 2006 and there has only been one gameplay video since then.

So far I have Endless Ocean and No More Heroes. Brawl is coming of course, and I plan on getting:

Pikmin 3 Smash Bros. Brawl Super Zelda Bros. Okami No More Heroes Metroid Prime Bowling Civilization Revolution Bully: Scholarship Edition Advance Wars for the Wii
Some of those are made up, but knowing Nintendo let's not be surprised if they do make them. Remember Metroid Prime Pinball? Samus would also make a perfect bowling ball, so that could be a decent game.
