Title: What do the blue folders mean?

I keep seeing blue colored folders next to specific forums and threads. I used to think that that meant there was a new post in that forum or thread since I was there last, but sometimes they turn blue even when there aren't new posts. What does it mean when those folders turn blue?

I'm pretty sure it means that those are topics that have been posted in after the last time you visited the site. Nifty, isn't it?

Near as I can tell, the blue folders indicate new posts since the last time you saw the main "forums" page, but if you spend half an hour on the boards one day and read some new posts as they arrive, it'll still call them "new" tomorrow because they arrived after your last log-in.
