Title: Well my sisters friend is a jerk

This morning one of my friends came over and told me that my sister was in a car accident with a crushed hip. So my mom is calling all the hospitals in the area, every hospital says they don't have her there. So everybody is fearing the worst. then someone that lives with me and my mom calls BS so my mom gets really mad and wants to find out who would do such a thing so she goes with our roommate on her way she sees a sheriffs car and she has her roommate go flag him down. The sheriff explains that if it was something serious she would be taken out to Loma Linda and if it wasn't she'd be taken to Saint Bernadines. Well my mom gets back and you wouldn't guess how called, my sis, it turns out that she is not in the hospital and says she just woke up. Danielle the person who told us the “news” tells her that shes been trying to find her my sis retorts that no one cares about here Danielle says everybody was looking for her so thats not true. My sis hangs up. I wouldn't be surprised she set all this up .

Well I just called over to where she was staying and told her that I hope she feels better she says that it was a joke.  I say that it's not funny she says her friends  had her phone and she was asleep. I respond with she needs to get new friends because it's obviously not funny she says that she needs a new family it takes this to have  me and my mom to care, and she hangs up.

That's... sorta psychotic. Who in their right mind does that? Doesn't she have have any sense about societal mores? That's like... the worst practical joke evar.

 I know kairon my mom and I share your sentiments. The worst part about is my mom she was  in the middle of training for a job, she almost had a panic attack. Thankfully shes doing better.

You must understand, Maxi, that we like to frolic in sarcasm land. And about your sister's friend, that's just f*cked up. My mom would pass out instantly if she heard that instantly, and I'm sure your moms the same. My mom health is no laughing matter and she needs to know that.

I'd definitely smack the bitch, no questions asked; or at least, force my sister not to hangout with her.

I'm kinda confident that a solid percentage of girls between the ages of 15 and 21 just do some seemingly psychotic things at times.  Why? I don't know.  The guys probably have their version though.

ok  reading my first I see that I worded it wrong. A little clarification Danielle called over to Jenette,my sisters place some dude  picks up the phone and tells Danielle that my sis was in a car accident. Danielle comes over to tell us what happened, Danielle is not the jerk friend. Well after we find this whole thing is a joke Myself and Kenny the dude that called BS were going to where my sis to try to get answers. So we walkdown to the bus stop but a little while later we decide against it because it would cause more problems than it would solve, So I head home and then I go over to Danielle's and call my sis I get in a disagreement with her. Also Stogi I'm 27 my sister is 31 so she wouldn't listen to me.

I had a idea while trying to go to sleep. I thought that it would be a good idea to make a topic about meeting new forum members. Heres how it work I would make a topic in the title it would say “get to know new forum member Maxi,insert new member,insert new member, once a new member joins or if YOU think your a new member once they post in the topic that'll be 2nd,3rd. After the second posts I'll add that name to the title it will continue like this till we get 4 then  the first will go off the title this way we can save space, but we can still ask that poster questions. I also think we could do one for veteran posters. what do ya think?

Mah. This sort of stuff is relatively tame compared to some of the real freaky slips of the tongue I've seen. Also, maxi, neat idea, but we've already for a newbie check-in thread... and I think as the title got longer and longer the forums would break down, then explode.

It sounded like your sister was 15, and you were 20.

If that's true then why would she lie? I can understand to a point the motivation about lying if you were young and were trying to hide the truth from your parents, but she's a grown ass woman.

BTW, you ever figure out what really happened? Was it just a terrible joke, or was it to cover up something?

Well the whole thing was a joke we haven't pinned down a reason for it yet, some of us say that a kid over heard people talking about a crash then said it when Danielle called. My mom says if thats true he must have been led to tell that. This probably won't get a decisive conclusion. If theres enough interest I detail all of her character.
