I used to have one a long time ago, still have a couple games left but not the system anymore. I had this adaptor that let me play Intellivision games in my Atari 2600, how the hell something like that could get made without somebody getting sued is way beyond me.

Err... are you sure it wasn't an adapter that would let you play Atari 2600 games on your Intellivision?

100% sure of that. It didn't work with very many games. I know because i had Star Strike in Intellivision and played it using this adapter on my 2600. It's possible it wasn't an official product, but my parents were the ones buying the video games back then. I just know for a fact it worked that way because I kept the stupid thing looooooooooooooong after we got rid of our Intellivision but we always, still do today, had an Atari 2600.

That is an interesting little gadget UB, but that was not what I had. Actually it wasn't an adapter that plugged into the system, it was just an extension on the carts themselves. It didn't work with all games because some games had different connections. It's hard to explain I wish I could find a pic of it.

Is AD&D any good? Sadly I no longer have an Intellivision so I haven't been able to play any of these games since I got them.

The Red Label AD&D (Cloudy Mountain) game is pretty awesome.  The Blue Label AD&D (Treasure of Tarmin) is crazy in-depth and I don't have fond memories of it as a child (mind you, I was negative one when the Intellivision actually came out, so playing in-depth games isn't something I should have been doing back then).. I really should read the manual for it, print out the overlays and try playing it some more....

Well the game I have has a red label on it so now maybe I will have to hunt down one of the players to get some game time with it.

Sorry dude, "Space Attack" is not an Intellivision Game.  It was produced by the folks at Mattel as a version of the Intellivision game Space Battle for the Atari VCS.  All of the "M Network" titles looked to be Intellivision games with a little thing attached, but you can't take it off and clip it to an Intellivision title.

I knew you would know more about it than me so that's why I posted. That clears it up a bit.

Intellivision was the subject of a hilariously funny video brought to you by the Angry Video Game Nerd.
