yes and most of the renditions of the songs were pretty good. so good in fact my idiot friend decided to get a strawberry tattoo (from the posters) and everyone thinks its a f*cked up apple.
if anyone liked the soundtrack, either d/l it or wait until the "deluxe" version comes out because the curren one doesnt have all the songs, even missing some of the better ones, like "with a little help from my friends"

... broke?... hello, bretheren. i haven't actually looked at the songtrack yet ('sept on iTunes), so i'll just take your word for it. maybe i'll buy one when one comes out with all the tracks. it doesn't have "a little help from my friends" on it, though? that's a good one, wonder why they don't have it. good actors, too. they had the perfect actors to play the rolls.

I finally got around to seeing this. I expected more from the great Julie Taymor, but the film's not bad. Needed a better plot. The "I Want You" sequence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwB8QiKWodk) was amazing.

i now own the movie, so i've seen it a few more times, and it does need a better plot, but as a musical, its really good
