Title: Gamer's wishlist
Post by: mottsc on October 22, 2007, 03:05:12 PM
The NWR Gamers Gaming Wishlist thread title in the Wii section made me think that a good feature would be for people with accounts to have lists of games they want as part of their account. Then when others looked at their game list it would have links to NWR reviews, previews, impressions, etc. Then people could give a URL to their list to others who want to buy that gamer (hard not to type Gamera). The game lists should also have links to purchase the games through some affiliate program so NWR gets more funding.

That sounds like work, and no one on the NWR staff likes to do work. Its not like they are getting paid or anything, so I really don't blame them.

What about an editorial featuring 5 of the games that NWR members seem to have in their gamers wishlists from the thread?

That sounds like Fusetalk work.  I'm afraid of the prospects of such a thing.  We can't even search right!

now that sounds like a good idea, and would definitely bring attention to the want of those games, since no one ever pays attention to the forums.
And since it seems like some developers/publishers are actually paying attention and in some cases even delivering and editorial would be perfect.
