Nintendo doesn't believe in demos cuz demos lead to bad press early on for their worthless non-games which will destroy any hype machines Nintendo plans to establish for their blockbuster rehashes they have planned for the remainder of the year and business quarter spilling into next year causing slow-down of their money printing operations creating difficulty to fund sinkhole never-ending projects like SUMABURA that are constantly delayed and won't see a release until fall 2008 to coincide with a second string of failed demo discs which are released to erase the memory of the previous years' demo discs that failed to generate interest much in the spirit of previous demo disc disasters in the GameCube generation where Nintendo generally INSULTED ITS FANS by requiring they subscribe to a year of a crap magazine or buy a new $99 GameCube system provided that the customer was lucky enough to live in an area that had a store to stock these discs while at the same time creating great distrust among the sophisticated elite gaming media and other modern gamers who shared their thoughts regarding publicity disasters such as this considering demo products should be EASILY OBTAINABLE and ACCESSIBLE to the masses unlike the recent garbage demo reels Nintendo currently has in the form of "non-kiosks" cuz the plain truth is these Wii kiosks don't really offer anything to play since they're just demo videos being RUN OFF OF A FLASH MEMORY MEDIA PLAYER meant to deceive the buying public when in fact there is no Wii system connected to the display television in the first place killing any hopes of "try before you buy" opportunities that more successful companies aptly know how to employ unlike Nintendo's flawed demo disc exercising their tyrannical "buy before you try" tactics which force their customers to think they might be getting a good deal despite the STUPID REALITY the customer must first "pay for the priviledge to try something new" as if it's some kind of reward for being a "loyal customer" which can't be the case this time around since Nintendo lost most of its TRADITIONAL GAMERS in the process of ruling the industry with an audience of NON-GAMERS who most likely won't be suckered into the phail tactics of pre-ordering vaporware like Smash Bros. Brawl for the PRIVILEDGE to try a 3-minute trial stage of MARIO & SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES and other 3rd-party titles that would greatly benefit from theoretical exposure had Nintendo possessed an EFFING CLUE how to distribute demo discs let alone manage to produce enough Wii units for the world or even hype the now-forgotten METROID PRIME 3 thanks to brilliant non-marketing tactics ensuring the world would stop caring 2 weeks after the game's release revealing how a good DEMO DISC DISTRIBUTION program would have given the game the exposure it deserved in an otherwise sensitive Wii market that does not reward REAL GAMERS' GAMES that Nintendo tries so hard to release yet is unable to sell it to anyone since they KILLED OFF all the REAL GAMERS in their audience by doing a shittee job giving away demo discs in a generation where its customers still cared (then stopped caring) about the company.
Demo discs are on the way? To who? IT CAN'T POSSIBLY BE TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS CUZ THERE'D BE SOME RIDICULOUS AND COCKY REQUIREMENT INVOLVED TO OBTAIN THEM.

If Nintendo does demos I expect it to be something we can't keep. They like how on the DS the demo disappears when you turn the system off. If we can keep playing the demo for all eternity they think we won't buy the full game.

which is why i still havnt bought Nights, the og demo, and the xmas demo..if they didnt save and have a good rewards sytem, i might have jsut moved on.

Sure Nintendo hasn't traditionally done demo discs but they haven't traditionally done online play either and look what's happening.
People who think Nintendo will never do demo discs = same people who were convinced Smash Bros Brawl would never go online.

It's not about demos it's about demo DISCS. You keep them. You can't keep a demo in a store display. You can't keep a temporary download to your DS. Nintendo doens't want you owning a demo for fear that you won't buy the game because the free demo disc satisfies you enough.

You can keep the demos... you just have to buy the carts from eBay.
