You might want to get in line for Nintendo's booth at the E for All Expo now.
Nintendo will be showing a huge lineup of cool games for both Wii™ and Nintendo DS™, including the hugely anticipated Super Mario® Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. ® Brawl. The Oct. 18-22 event at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be the first opportunity for the public to get their hands on these games and take them for a test drive.
In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.
Although the lineup is subject to change, the complete list of games for Nintendo systems scheduled to appear at E for All include:

QuoteThis is a show for gamers, not the media/buyers/developers. Most gamers don't know how to accurately judge a work-in-progress. If Nintendo started showing off half-finished games they'd get ripped a new one. They're best sticking with brand new or almost finished games.

This is an exciting line-up... but there's no 2008 guns on show, which isn't a surprise given the current trend of what companies AREN'T showing at major conferences.

How come the DS lineup is so full of games already out? They didn't do that with the Wii. Who wants to go to a convention to play old games they already could have owned for YEARS?
Whatever. SSB and Mario Galaxy are there and that's really all that matters.

QuoteIsn't Nintendo publishing Professor Layton? That one has certainly piqued my interest.

Ian, Nintendo's end of year Wii line-up is very close and is much richer than its DS line-up of games, in fact I would say there are no Nintendo titles that are important enough coming out on DS until 2008, so doesn't it make sense they pay more attention to the Wii line-up?
QuoteStill better than anything Sony or MS are showing.
I agree. I think it's a great idea to pay more attention to the Wii line-up. But what the hell is Mario Kart DS doing there? Is there an admission fee to this thing? I'd hate to take the time to go, pay for it, and then have Nintendo shove a game in my face I already own or could go play on a demo machine at Toys 'R' Us for free any time.
