, it isn't that hard to get accepted here. Look at Mashiro, we forget that he has not been here that long and it wasn't hard at him at all to get brought in. This board seems to have a culture built around people who can express their opinions with some competency, yet at the same time cannot take things super seriously. I think that takes a form of maturity there, the trouble with Gamefaqs is that it is so big, that you don't really have much of a "community" what you have is a bunch of random and clashing members who are nothing but screennames, and are not really held accountable in any sense for what they say.

That's exactly what I always thought but explained much better. That's why I like smaller fansites, there's a community instead of just a mob and one-or-two people with an obscene amount of posts/rep/karma/whatever rating system they use.

Really, the striking thing about our forum is each individual manages to create and maintain a character, instead of being an avatar+screenname+flashysignature spammer that seeks post counts or signature real estate or something awful like "Sage status".

there are a few Nsiders that are actually worth having around, but not many are left after nintendo weeded them out over the summer.
some did survive to the it closed down, but they were rare.

I like keeping up with this Nintendo community. It's got a great mix of posters that have all different viewpoints and it always makes for a good time.
It's really a great little forum community and I'm more than happy to be a part of it. Regardless if some people don't like me

Lol, what I also like about the boards is that even when a rare knock out beat em up fight happens, things recover from it. Heck I still consider Evan a friend even if he sometimes gets me upset. At Gamefaqs if you got in a fight, there is really nothing there to even make you want to "patch" things up so to speak, it is one nameless poster insulting another nameless poster, there is 0 accountability via a relationship.
