Acclaim officially cancelled the original GameCube release of AFL Live 2003 in the Australian market, citing lack of time as an excuse. Even though Aussies are getting the GC version later this year, there has never been a chance of the game coming up to the US. However, that's going to change, now that the publisher is thinking about giving the game a shot in the United States market.
Acclaim has put up a small survey form on its US website, asking whether or not people would be interested in buying an Australian Rules Football League game. If you or someone you know might want to give a game like this a try, fill out the form.
The GameCube version of AFL Live 2004 is due out for Australians in August 2003. If Acclaim decides to release the series in North America, it's unknown if the game will come out yearly, or be a one-shot deal (such as EA Sports' Rugby title).
