do you use your own money to pay for these games? Or does money from advertisements pay for it? Or does Nintendo themselves actually give you points so you can review it.
if your using your own money I pity you guys thats must be hundreds of dollars down the drain in horrible games.

There's a bit of 1 and 3. Until VERY recently we had to cover the expense ourselves. Nintendo sent us some points recently, but we use them very judiciously. They're mostly saved for big WiiWare titles.

I'm glad staff is publicly blaming others for problems with the site (not bitter!). In my defense, every week this year three **** games got released on VC, and for three months I bought on average three or four games a month. I was constantly begging the rest of the staff to pick up the slack and sometimes I would go two whole weeks without help. I don't blame them, NO ONE wants to pay money just to do a regular feature. When school started I had neither the finances nor the drive to continue. I'm not even really a staffer anymore, sob sob. ANYWAYS that's the full story.

Pssh, it was your gig. I'm not blaming you, we just never appointed anyone else.
In the time since I posted that we've started reorganizing our VC coverage. We got the first "crap, we have to catch up" round-up out as part of that effort.
