Title: The Metroid Prime story so far

Hey, before I go and play Prime 3 today, can anyone give me a rundown on what the story is so far from Prime to Prime 2? I beat the first one but never played through prime 2. So I really have no clue about Dark Samus and all that junk.

Space pirates test phazon, keep Metroid Prime, Samus kills Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime attaches to samus momentarily, when game ends Shadow Samus comes out of phazon. MP2, Samus goes beats up things in dark and light worlds, fights dark samus at end, though Dark Samus is seen at the very end floating in space, the end.
