Title: X-Files 2 in 2008?
Post by: Mashiro on July 14, 2007, 07:44:55 PM: I used to love the X-files and heard rumors of a second film for a long time but now according to David Duchovny, it really is "going forward" and Gillian Anderson is indeed on board.

Post by: nitsu niflheim on July 15, 2007, 01:25:53 PM: I believe they were killed in the final season of The X-Files after their own show was canceled and their story lines were finished in the final season of The X-Files. This is going by what I have read because I didn't watch any of the 9th season when it first aired. I have them all on DVD and right now I have 6th ~ 9th season to watch, plus the one aborted season of The Lone Gunmen, as well.

What happened to the lone gunmen? All three of the Lone Gunmen died in the X-Files episode "Jump The Shark", sacrificing themselves to save thousands from a terrorist created plague by using fire doors to seal themselves in a closed hallway with the man carrying the plague. AD Skinner pulled some strings and arranged for them to be interred at Arlington National Cemetery as tribute to their brave deeds

Hopefully, I really want to see another X-Files movie.
